Empirical DHEA supplementation in IVF needs a precision reboot. 🧬 Baseline DHEA/T levels—not just low AMH—may determine therapeutic response. A concise 3-minute synthesis on androgen precursor dynamics and ovarian aging from @HelenHealth 👇 youtu.be/L5USAYtNegg #DHEA
Some women take DHEA and finally get a positive pregnancy test. Others take the exact same supplement and see zero change. Why? 🤔 We’ve been asking the wrong question about DHEA for years. Here’s what the latest research actually shows 🧵👇 1️⃣ DHEA is not just a supplement—it’s a hormone precursor. Most DHEA is semi-synthesized from plant sterols, converting into testosterone and estrogen in your body. (And no, wild yam won't convert on its own). 2️⃣ DHEA drops earlier than you think. Our research at HelenHealth shows DHEA & testosterone decline alongside ovarian age. The key isn't just having low AMH—it's knowing if your DHEA has actually declined. 3️⃣ More is NOT better.Unchecked DHEA can lead to androgenic side effects (acne, hair growth) and impacts immune pathways. The future of fertility is Precision Medicine: 🔬 Measure first. 🧠 Understand second. 💉 Treat third. 🎥 Watch our 3-minute breakdown on how DHEA impacts ovarian aging—and why one size never fits all. I used to think regular periods meant healthy ovaries. Turns out that's not always true. This was surprisingly informative. ▶️ youtu.be/FeOZiH1NZAs
Regular periods ≠ Healthy ovaries. Ovarian reserve may decline long before menstrual cycles become irregular. Watch the 1-minute version here, and the full evidence-based explanation on YouTube: ▶️ youtu.be/FeOZiH1NZAs #WomensHealth #AMH #Fertility #HelenHealth

Looking for best diet to maintain weight loss? For long-term, Mediterranean-Asian hybrid pattern is recommended. Substitute refined staples w/ whole grains, legumes & unsaturated FAs to target visceral obesity & sustain metabolic gains. Open Access doi.org/10.59717/j.xinn-nutr…
Stuck in the cycle of losing and regaining weight? This happens because the body treats weight loss as a threat, triggering biological defenses to pull the weight back. Open Access doi.org/10.59717/j.xinn-nutr… #nutrition #Obesity #Weightloss #medx #WeightGain #Science

Four critical dimensions of Cancer metabolic Reprogramming Open Access doi.org/10.59717/j.xinn-nutr…
Tumor Metabolism: The Central Integrating Node of the 2026 Cancer Hallmarks Open Access doi.org/10.59717/j.xinn-nutr… In January 2026, Douglas Hanahan updated the "Cancer Hallmarks" framework. Our recent commentary in The Innovation Nutrition argues that tumor metabolism is no longer just a classic hallmark, but the "universal language" linking all dimensions of cancer biology.  By positioning metabolic reprogramming at the center, we bridge FOUR critical dimensions:  1. Core Hallmarks: Metabolism fuels proliferation and facilitates immune evasion via lactate-mediated acidification.  2. Enabling Characteristics: It acts as a master conductor of epigenetic changes and is the "behind-the-scenes driver" of phenotypic plasticity.  3. Microenvironmental Cells: The TME functions as a metabolic ecosystem where cancer cells and stromal cells (like CAFs) engage in "metabolic collaboration".  4. Systemic Interactions: We highlight the emerging roles of neural regulation, the gut microbiome, and systemic conditions like cachexia in tumor progression.  This multidimensional perspective provides a theoretical foundation for "Hallmark-guided personalized therapy". By co-targeting metabolic nodes alongside other hallmarks, we can overcome therapy resistance and move toward true precision oncology. #Cancer #CancerResearch #metabolism #Hallmark #Science #TumorEnvironment #metastasis #news #TME #oncology #CAFs
