🚨 $15M gone from $INJ in 48 hours But the most
interesting part came after the crash
Four days ago I asked if too much leverage was building up on INJ The last two days gave us a pretty clear answer 👇🏻
Open interest was close to $80M on Tuesday Then INJ dropped around 10% in two days and OI fell to $70M before dropping further to $65M this morning That’s an 18% decline in open positions in just 48 hours
Liquidations have also been slowing down They were around $702K in long liquidations earlier then total liquidations fell to $424K yesterday and $271K over the last 24 hours The selling pressure from liquidations seems to be easing
What’s interesting is that funding stayed positive throughout the drop Longs were still paying to hold their positions even as the price kept falling So despite the flush funding never turned negative
Now there’s another change worth watching OI bounced from $65.4M to $66.8M for the first time since the drop began while futures volume is still around $148M over 24 hours
That doesn’t confirm a recovery yet but it does show traders are starting to add positions again
The next move will tell us whether this is the start of a rebuild or just a short pause

The SpaceX market is especially interesting because traders can get exposure to a company that hasn’t even gone public yet
And this isn’t a new trend for Injective
Back in 2025 stocks already accounted for 70% of all RWA volume 🔥
Nvidia led with $156M followed by Coinbase at $152M Tesla at $121M and Alphabet at $118M
Gold added $81M and silver $46M and there was even a perp market tied to Nvidia H100 GPU rental prices
Since early 2025 these markets have recorded more than $5.3B in total volume
But the story goes beyond trading
👉🏼 Pineapple Financial has brought over $1B in real mortgage assets onto Injective with 2,079 mortgage records onchain and a target of $10B
That’s an actual mortgage lender moving its loan book onchain
Injective $INJ has also become the first Layer 1 registered as an SEC transfer agent a role responsible for maintaining records of security ownership
