Frédéric Lordon on late stage Macronism:
"...a state reduced to two ministries — the Ministry of the Budget and the Ministry of the Interior. Or, to put it another way: the Ministry of Friends (the markets) and the Ministry of Enemies (the people). As the first runs up against the economic impasse of neoliberalism, the second comes to hold all the power."

When New Yorkers and Palestinians are detained & tortured in Israel's prisons, they are being abused under Ben-Gvir's authority.
When armed settlers attack New Yorkers and Palestinians with guns, they were almost certainly armed by Ben-Gvir.

Today, Brad Lander, rabbis, and other New Yorkers accompanied Palestinian farmers during the olive harvest. For that, they were detained by the Israeli government.
Harvesting olives is not illegal. The occupation is.
I am thankful that Brad has been released. But other New Yorkers remain detained, and they must be released immediately.
The same Israeli government detaining them has committed a horrific genocide against Palestinians, killing more than 74,000 people over the last few years alone.
The detention of these New Yorkers must end. The occupation must end. The genocide must end.

"The policeman shouts but the man doesn't run. He just stands there, looking at the policeman, he doesn't budge. The man has stopped being afraid-and this is precisely the beginning of the revolution. The policeman turns around and begins to walk heavily back towards his post."
