🚨 DECOY DAN: The NEW YORK TIMES now reports that people working with Mary Peltola's campaign and senior DSCC aides helped recruit a SECOND Dan Sullivan to run in Alaska.
The goal, per the Times, was to pull votes from Senator Dan Sullivan and split the ballot.
Peltola's former campaign manager told the Times she was "definitely aware."
Governor Mike Dunleavy just ordered an investigation into possible criminal charges.
Sullivan says the plan reaches Schumer's DSCC. Peltola still hasn't apologized.
Democrats couldn't beat him on the record, so they tried to beat him on the NAME.
