We seriously need to talk about the growing problem of AI plagiarism on YouTube because itās getting out of control.
Iāve recently discovered an AI channel that appears to be taking nearly half my videos, running them through AI and repurposing my work as its own content.
The wording is different. Some points are expanded, others removed, additional context is thrown in. But the underlying research, arguments, opinions and talking points are often the same. Even the titles and thumbnails are incredibly similar.
I know my own work. I know the research Iāve done, the arguments Iāve constructed and the opinions Iāve formed. I can recognise when my content appears to have been taken, reworded and repackaged by AI. Itās not just me, I can see these accounts doing it to other big United and YouTube fan channels work in the space.
And as someone who uploads videos every single day, this is particularly frustrating.
Iāll spend hours researching a topic, forming my own opinions, recording and editing a video, only to wake up the following day and see the same AI channel (Maggy Talks Football) has uploaded a video covering practically all the same points, arguments and opinions I made the day before. The video might be different in many ways but I can tell when itās my work thrown into ai and repurposed to be shorter etc.
The wording might be different, the order might change and some extra information might be thrown in, but when youāve spent hours creating that content yourself, you recognise your own work.
Itās incredibly disheartening knowing that almost every day, something youāve put genuine time and effort into creating appears to be getting fed into an AI tool and repurposed by somebody else.
And Iām clearly not the only creator experiencing this. So many other creators are having their work copied and repackaged in exactly the same way. This is becoming a widespread problem.
Whatās particularly concerning is that these AI channels arenāt necessarily bringing anything original to the conversation. Theyāre taking the hard work of human creators and using AI to produce another version of essentially the same video, with an AI-generated character presenting it.
Some of these videos are even getting MORE views than the original creators whose work they appear to be based on.
And the audience often has absolutely no idea theyāre watching AI. Youāll see hundreds of comments complimenting these AI presenters as though theyāre real people.
This is genuinely dangerous for the future of content creation. Not just football YouTube, but EVERY niche.
Why spend hours researching, scripting, recording and editing original content when someone else can potentially feed your video into an AI tool, change the wording, add a few extra facts and upload their own version the next day?
I have absolutely no problem with creators using AI to enhance their work. AI can be an incredible tool.
But thereās a massive difference between using AI to help create something original and using AI to disguise the fact youāre repurposing somebody elseās work.
Changing the wording doesnāt automatically make the underlying work original.
I appreciate this is difficult for YouTube to police, particularly when the wording isnāt identical. But something needs to change.
YouTube needs to take this seriously and take action against channels that systematically repurpose other creatorsā work without adding genuine original substance.
Because if this continues unchecked, what incentive is there for people to keep putting the time, effort and creativity into making original content?
AI should be helping creators. Not replacing their work with recycled versions of it.

i genuienly from the heart of me can't believe how united still employ matt hargreaves. barely anyone seems to know him. this guy essentially handles all the talks between agents and clubs. he was adidas sports marketing director and is now our director of football negotiationsš

Hire Ashworth, a well respected tier 1 DoF after a 5-month gardening leave. You sacked him a few weeks later following rows over Utd's football strategy and cos he opposed sacking TenHag and hiring Amorim.
You keep TenHag only to sack hin a few months later to make way for Amorim, a manager with an entirely different game model requiring huge squad changes, changes you were unwilling to make.
You sack Amorim after he calls you guys out and replace him with a tactically weak, rookie championship manager who doesn't get backed enough.
The guys who made all these calls need to leave with Carrick after the loss vs Bournemouth on Sunday

How can they be āshockedā? There wasnāt a single fan who was shocked in the slightest. They are completely out of their depth
šŗ NEW: The Manchester United hierarchy were shocked by the poor performance of the players in the loss by Como and feel they should take a portion of the blame for the slump in form that has left Michael Carrick fighting to save his job ā¬ļø

As a Forest fan, I have zero love for United. My two penneth is: their culture has been suffocated. First by the Glazers and further by Ratcliffe. United is being led by unlikeable, passionless, cynical and penny pinching characters. They set the tone and, like a waterfall, it flows down, through every channel and into every corner. They have sucked the life & soul out of that football club. Itās only their hardcore, longstanding fanbase keeping their identity alive and yet they are doing everything to get them gone with their draconian season ticket policies.

Briefs specifically naming managers and with comments about them.
Would almost be like they were already in contact like I stated during the international break.
Itās a shame we are here yet again, but it is what it is.

āAt this club, thereās too much focus on whatās been done in the PAST, but weāre not those people anymore. The club and the players need to understand that.
āUnfortunately for us - especially when it comes to the players - those who join expect to win trophies, win games, and reach the highest level, but unfortunately, thatās been very DIFFICULT at this club in recent years. Thatās the situation.ā

Michael Carrick now in peril but issues at #MUFC run far deeper. Glazers foundation for crumbling skyscraper; Ratcliffe gives unique challenges; Berrada, Wilcox + City links open to scrutiny.
Only run of results since INEOS arrived is interim Carrick ā¬ļø

Why would you keep a Sporting Director that has hired and fired managers every season with no sign of progress and only regression? It does not make any sense.

The Glazers are the biggest finessers of the 21st century.
Bought Manchester United through a leveraged takeover, saddling the club with debt rather than themselves.
Then sold a minority stake to INEOS, pocketed billions and handed over responsibility for football operations.
Theyāve somehow managed to extract enormous wealth from United while distancing themselves from accountability for what happens on the pitch.

When INEOS came into Man Utd, they talked about building a clear identity, recruiting players to fit that identity and appointing a head coach who suited it.
Yet all three managers theyāve appointed have been completely different stylistically.
Just proves it was all waffle. There was never a plan.
I mean waiting a year for Ashworth to sack him 6 months later confirmed they had 0 plans.
They donāt know how to run a football club. Ten hag said it, Martinez said it⦠everyone can see it!
