Keep in mind, amid all the focus on US evacuations from Afghanistan, that the Taliban in the Doha Accord signed with the US gov’t last year pledged not to attack Americans-and they’ve honored that obligation. That’s not a luxury enjoyed by the Afghans trying to leave the country.
