The people have spoken or in this case voted and while I appreciate their position I am concerned about America losing what has made it such an exceptional nation of opportunity.
God bless America 🇺🇸

When it comes to the Cardano Treasury at this point in the game, I think those funds should be used for maintaining Cardano, improvements to Cardano, real marketing of Cardano and forms of project support with repayment plans.
As far as I'm concerned, the days of cashing out from the Treasury for ideas and ventures that bring nothing to the chain but fun mentions, ego masturbation or green peace posturing just dont sit well with me anymore. The wasteful spending days are over.
I've been very accommodating for years in efforts to give everyone a shot at building something ground breaking, to achieve greatness on chain. I've watched company start on Cardano to obtain community support just to jump ship to other chains where they felt the grass would be greener when to me, it would appear their execution resulted in lack of interest or growth and Cardano was blamed. Where are they now?
I'm tired of seeing Cardano be used, bullied and otherwise bled by ALL parties with their thumb in the pie while so many of us continue working for free, taken for granted and acting as the front line infantry taking the shots for the officers as they sit on their horses upon the distant hills overlooking the fray below.
It's time for a real change in how us Dreps are treated, how the power entities operate in "Cardano's" favor or not, and how the Treasury is handled.
Why do we have founding entities with endless ADA at their disposal, more worried about collecting voting power and supporting interests that do nothing for Cardano instead of just funding these efforts themselves? If these proposals were worthy of Treasury funds, are they not worthy of being funded by the entities that support them? If not, why should we support them?
I want to see everyone succeed, prosper, innovate and compete, but the rules need to change once and for all and people need to start adding more of their own skin in the game. It's not 2017 anymore.

JUST IN: $ADA's Ouroboros Leios advances closer to mainnet, now surpassing 6,900 total updates. IOG is targeting a mainnet hard fork by the end of 2026. Charles Hoskinson is confident that Leios will allow Cardano to "keep up" with the leading protocols.

Dude, you have lost it here. And I have been a big fan. Trump will not use a nuclear weapon. This is a matter of family with him, see his Uncle John. And whoever your contacts are in the Trump Administration, they are feeding you BS for reasons which you should question.
Desperate for clicks like Tucker?
Journalist Glenn Greenwald reacts to Tucker Carlson's BOMBSHELL report about the Trump administration and its plans to use nuclear weapons against Iran:
"What Tucker is trumpeting there is not that a decision has been made but that this is being discussed at the highest levels — and anybody who has any sources or contacts in the Trump administration knows this is true!"

Cardano handles tokens natively at the ledger layer without requiring smart contracts for basic transfers.
This architecture reduces execution overhead for tokenized Real-World Assets (RWAs).
Which Layer-1 feature matters most for institutional RWA adoption?

Very useful analysis of Soros sponsorship of Democratic foreign policy. What Data Republican leaves out is that George Soros and his Foundations have always been a font of imperial British policy flowing from the gods of the City of London. Following the retreat of that Empire from hard power exercises (after all they had the United States military) their colonial policy said that you can do whatever you damn want domestically, foreign affairs belong to us. So, it has been in our country since Roosevelt died. Kennedy was killed for interfering, Nixon was Watergated, after that Presidents acted as vassels. That is, until Donald Trump. That is why they hate him and have tried to kill him.

Charles stepped back from the Cardano infighting, focused on Midnight, and it's working. Cheers to that.

For years, they mocked Cardano for moving too slowly. They ridiculed Charles Hoskinson for insisting on rigorous research, formal methods, and security-first engineering.
But here's something the crypto industry desperately needs to understand:
Speed means nothing if everything you've built can be compromised overnight.
Every exploit, every compromised wallet, and every catastrophic security failure reminds us that innovation without discipline comes at a terrible price.
Cardano was never supposed to win a race to the finish line. It was built to endure.
And Midnight carries that philosophy forward, bringing privacy, selective disclosure, and security-conscious architecture into an increasingly dangerous digital world.
Neither is immune to vulnerabilities. No system is. But designing for security from the beginning is fundamentally different from treating it as an afterthought.
The future of blockchain won't belong simply to whoever builds the fastest. It will belong to those who earn and preserve trust.
That is why I believe in Cardano and Midnight.
The world doesn't need another blockchain that promises everything.
It needs infrastructure it can depend on.

Cardano and Midnight have it right
From today’s Binance hack, no $ADA or $NIGHT tokens were stolen.
And for a good reason:
- The attackers compromised a hot wallet key and an internal signing service, the same class of breach that has drained other exchanges before. But the ADA and NIGHT balances were not sitting in a simple account style hot wallet. They were held in a Cardano multi signature script (eUTxO) that required an additional on chain authorization from a separate, air gapped key controlled by a different team, plus a timelock that only released after a short challenge window.
- Midnight’s privacy layer added a second practical obstacle: the precise amounts and destination addresses were shielded with zk proofs. The attackers could see that “some” assets existed, but they could not confirm exact balances or craft a clean withdrawal transaction without generating valid selective disclosure proofs they did not possess. By the time they realized the funds were not freely spendable under the compromised key, the internal response team had already rotated the remaining signers and frozen the script.
- The only assets that left the platform were tokens that relied purely on centralized hot wallet controls. ADA and NIGHT stayed put because their movement was gated by on chain script conditions and privacy constraints that the stolen credentials alone could not satisfy.
In short: the keys were compromised, the script conditions and zk requirements were not.
