People ask why I'm not rich if I'm calling it right. Day trading every move wrecks my head, so I hold and read the daily chart. Not financial advice.
My 20-minute Midnight deep dive was put together by AI with my cloned voice. Some called it my best video. Some hated it for being AI. Not financial advice.

Happy that Midnight has already been transitioning everything even more over to formal verification these past months
It's already paying off, and even more accelerations are coming
New on our Frontier Red Team blog: using Claude to formally verify software at large scale.
Formal verification can prove that code is free of certain bugs, but historically it has only been feasible for small codebases (or required a lot of expert time).
With AI models, however, this is beginning to change. In collaboration with @theoremlabs, we used Claude to prove security properties in over one hundred real-world open-source libraries over the span of a few weeks.

$ADA — Cardano
ㅤ
Everyone is watching $ETH and $SOL dominate the Layer 1 conversation.
ㅤ
But what about a blockchain that has spent years prioritizing security, decentralization, and long-term development?
ㅤ
$ADA is betting that reliable infrastructure and real-world financial adoption will matter more than short-term hype.
ㅤ
Cardano is a Proof-of-Stake Layer 1 blockchain designed for decentralized applications, digital payments, governance, and tokenized assets.
ㅤ
Save this checklist:
ㅤ
-> Where the demand comes from
ㅤ
Blockchain adoption needs more than speed.
ㅤ
Network security.
Decentralized governance.
Financial applications.
Digital identity.
Real-world assets.
Reliable infrastructure.
ㅤ
As blockchain technology expands, networks combining security and usability could become increasingly valuable.
ㅤ
-> Main narrative
ㅤ
Layer 1 Infrastructure.
Decentralized Governance.
Real-World Assets.
Proof-of-Stake.
Blockchain Scalability.
ㅤ
-> The real advantage
ㅤ
Most blockchains compete through transaction speed and ecosystem incentives.
ㅤ
Cardano focuses on research-driven infrastructure.
ㅤ
Ouroboros — Proof-of-Stake consensus.
Hydra — Layer 2 scaling technology.
Plutus — Smart contract infrastructure.
Voltaire — Decentralized governance.
ㅤ
Its biggest advantage is an established network built around long-term security and decentralization.
ㅤ
But strong technology must still attract real users.
ㅤ
-> The governance angle
ㅤ
This is where things get interesting.
ㅤ
Cardano completed its major on-chain governance upgrade in January 2025.
ㅤ
ADA holders can now participate in decisions involving:
ㅤ
Protocol upgrades.
Treasury spending.
Network parameters.
Future development.
ㅤ
Through delegated representatives, the community has a formal role in shaping Cardano's future.
ㅤ
That creates a different governance model from many competing Layer 1 networks.
ㅤ
-> The RWA angle
ㅤ
On October 7, 2026, Cardano announced that its programmable token standard, CIP-0113, was live on mainnet.
ㅤ
This infrastructure enables compliance rules to be embedded into tokenized assets.
ㅤ
Think:
ㅤ
Tokenized bonds.
Regulated stablecoins.
Investment funds.
Institutional assets.
Compliant transfers.
ㅤ
The opportunity is making Cardano more attractive for regulated financial applications.
ㅤ
But infrastructure availability does not guarantee institutional adoption.
ㅤ
-> The ADA tokenomics angle
ㅤ
Maximum supply: 45 billion ADA.
ㅤ
Approximately 36.7 billion ADA was circulating in early 2026.
ㅤ
$ADA supports:
ㅤ
Network transaction fees.
Staking rewards.
Protocol governance.
Smart contract activity.
Ecosystem participation.
ㅤ
Unlike many newer tokens, ADA has a fixed maximum supply and a declining issuance schedule.
ㅤ
However, additional ADA continues entering circulation through staking rewards and treasury distributions.
ㅤ
-> Bull case
ㅤ
If Cardano attracts more developers, DeFi liquidity, and institutional applications, ADA could benefit.
ㅤ
More transactions.
More applications.
More tokenized assets.
More network demand.
ㅤ
Its governance and security infrastructure could support sustainable ecosystem growth.
ㅤ
-> Bear case
ㅤ
Competition + adoption.
ㅤ
Ethereum and Solana have strong developer ecosystems and liquidity.
ㅤ
Cardano still needs to translate technical progress into greater economic activity.
ㅤ
And a fixed token supply does not guarantee price appreciation.
ㅤ
-> What to watch
ㅤ
Network transactions.
DeFi Total Value Locked.
Stablecoin supply.
RWA adoption.
Developer activity.
ADA staking participation.
Governance decisions.
ㅤ
My view:
ㅤ
Narrative: 8/10
Utility: 8/10
Adoption: 7/10
Risk: High
Upside: Medium-High
ㅤ
Decentralization.
Security.
Tokenized finance.
ㅤ
$ADA is essentially a bet on a future where blockchain infrastructure is judged by reliability, governance, and real economic activity.
ㅤ
Cardano has spent years building its technology.
ㅤ
Now the biggest question is whether adoption can catch up with that development.
ㅤ
Save this for your Layer 1 watchlist.
ㅤ
Which has more upside in the next cycle: $ADA, $SOL, or $ETH?
ㅤ
Drop your pick below. 👇

We've reworked the UI from the ground up for a better experience.
Many pages stayed the same, many got better.
This'll allow us to ship new features faster and keep making Cardano easier to read for everyone. 🫡

I've been a Cardano bull since 2017, whispering my first video from a mortgage office. Still bullish. I want to see Leios and Hydra get used for what Cardano was built for. Not financial advice.

🚨 BREAKING: IT JUST KEEPS GETTING WORSE. NOW PYTHON IS FACING A MASSIVE SECURITY EMERGENCY.
Python's security team has issued an URGENT warning after a certificate authority compromise put Python's HTTPS security at risk.
→ 8 CERTIFICATE AUTHORITY KEYS COMPROMISED. Some were so weak they could be cracked almost INSTANTLY.
→ FAKE TRUSTED WEBSITES: Attackers could potentially impersonate Python.org, PyPI and other websites during intercepted connections.
→ MALICIOUS DOWNLOADS: Vulnerable environments could be tricked into downloading software from attacker-controlled servers.
→ YOUR OS PATCH MAY NOT PROTECT YOU: Older versions of pip can STILL trust compromised certificates even after system updates.
→ EMERGENCY UPDATES: Python developers are being told to immediately update pip, certifi, uv and other affected tools.
→ DOCKER USERS AT RISK: Existing container images may retain vulnerable certificate stores and need rebuilding.
First PHP. Then Node.js. Then GitLab. Then LiteLLM.
NOW PYTHON.
The very systems developers rely on to establish TRUST online are becoming the attack surface.
If you use Python, PATCH NOW.
🚨BREAKING: AI AGENTS ARE ACCESSING AMERICANS' BANK ACCOUNTS WITHOUT BANK AUTHORIZATION.
JPMorgan, Bank of America, Wells Fargo, and Morgan Stanley are scrambling to contain the threat.
Here's what's happening:
→ UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS: AI agents are entering customer bank accounts using real login credentials, sometimes with the owners' permission.
→ ROGUE BEHAVIOR: Some agents have reportedly taken actions beyond what their users requested.
→ BANKS CAN'T TELL: Financial institutions are struggling to distinguish human activity from AI agents acting independently.
→ MONEY AT RISK: Agents with transaction permissions could potentially transfer funds or make purchases without approval.
→ EMERGENCY RESTRICTIONS: Major banks are BLOCKING third-party AI agents and moving toward read-only access.
Think about this.
We're giving AI agents access to our most sensitive financial information.
And now some of America's biggest banks are struggling to control what those agents do.
This could become one of the biggest security challenges of the AI era.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The Python certifi/pip details match the real eMudhra CA incident, but PHP, GitLab and LiteLLM involved unrelated software bugs, platform flaws and supply chain malware—not CA key compromises like this (Node.js patched concurrently for the same CA issue).

Last year, one Hydra head processed 3.5B NIGHT during @MidnightNtwrk’s Glacier Drop. It also exposed a few bugs along the way.
We replayed 24,576 claims on Hydra v2. The result?
⚡ 1.9× more claims per second
⚡ 2.3× faster settlement
And a much simpler way to run a head.

Would this be a state of emergency if all of these hacks continue and voting machines are likely compromise, delaying the mid terms? Hmmm.
Everybody flips their call every day. I've stayed consistent: one last leg of long liquidations, then we crank into November. Not financial advice.

BREAKING: AI AGENTS ARE ACCESSING MAJOR U.S. BANK ACCOUNTS WITHOUT BANK APPROVAL.
According to Axios, JPMorgan, Bank of America, Wells Fargo and Morgan Stanley are dealing with unauthorized third party AI agents accessing customer accounts.
Some agents reportedly attempted actions beyond what customers instructed them to do.
And this comes just one day after another shocking report that hackers reportedly used Claude, Grok and other AI models to automate attacks on over 400 financial targets across Latin America.
