I want to share something from my personal experience with TRT.
Before I ever started testosterone therapy, I spent years trying to fix how I felt.
And I mean years of trying everything I could think of.
I did detox protocols for things like parasites, heavy metals, and mold. I changed diets multiple times. Keto. Intermittent fasting. Keto and fasting together. I trained hard with weights. I did tons of cardio. I combined everything trying to “optimize” my health. I even did coffee enemas, yikes.
I went down every possible route I could find.
Chiropractic care thinking maybe it was structural, this got expensive. Neuromuscular massage and trigger point work thinking it was tightness and nerve issues. Acupuncture. Therapy for PTSD. Treatment for TBI. Antidepressants. Brain stimulation therapy. Iodine protocols. Switching salts. Genetic testing. Looking into methylation issues like B12, COMT, MAO-A, and trying to “correct” what I could find. I had a neck fusion, hoping it came from neck instability. I was in a constant state of dizziness and not feeling “fully in this reality.”
All my blood work always came back within “normal limits” so every doctor just said the same thing “it’s probably from the TBI you got from when you got blown up.”
I prayed constantly.
I genuinely tried everything I could under the sun.
And still, something wasn’t right. Always felt hope when I tried something new but was disappointed when it didn’t change anything.
The fatigue, brain fog, low motivation, and emotional weight were still there. There were nights I went to bed feeling like I wasn’t sure I’d make it through the next day, I literally prayed before bed thinking “well this is it.” A constant sense of heaviness and survival mode. At the time, it felt like I had already lived my best years and I was just pushing through what was left.
Eventually I reached a point where I basically said, “I have nothing left to lose. I’ll try TRT and see what happens.”
For me personally, that’s when things shifted.
It didn’t make life perfect, but it changed something fundamental, it resolved about 90% of my issues.
My mood improved. The constant low-grade depression lifted. The feeling of hopelessness started to fade. I started thinking about the future again. I started feeling motivated again. Strong again. Mentally clearer. Emotionally more stable. When that changed, it seemed my physical symptoms changed too. The dizziness subsided my aches and pains went away, and everything didn’t hurt all the time.
I stopped feeling like I was just surviving and started feeling like I was actually living again.
I can’t fully explain it any other way than that.
I honestly wish I had understood sooner that low testosterone could be a factor in everything I was trying to fix for so long. I spent close to a decade searching for answers and assuming my best years were behind me.
This isn’t medical advice and everyone is different, but I do think it’s important for people to get proper labs and not ignore persistent symptoms that don’t make sense.
Just sharing my experience in case, it helps someone connect dots in their own situation, I never knew hormones could play such a large role in EVERY area of my life like that.
Now, being on the other side of things, I want others to find their way, even if TRT isn’t the answer, living like that is not living at all and I want to see you get better.
Smokeless firepits.
So, solo stove seems to be the go-to...
Wondering if there are company, less expensive brands with matching or better quality.
Perfer to hear personal experiences.

No more teasers. Q4 surprise 1 of 2 is below and comes with a pretty epic giveaway!
I've been strategizing on a mens fragrance for 6 months. I knew what I wanted but after some help exploring scents with @recon10th and wrapping up with @GreenHornTX, we didn't just nail one.
We nailed three.
In true Barbarian fashion, each brand for these was hand-lettered. Each of the 3 scents built entirely from scratch...for hours. Drop-by-drop. In-person. We didn't hire a lab to develop them; we did them ourselves with professional guidance to produce three unique fragrances for Barbarian. This is the next big jump for us.
We will acquire the fragrances in bulk (produced right here in north GA), bottle by hand, and print every single one in-house. No labels for these; our highly detailed artwork will be printed directly on every bottle!
I couldn't be happier with the outcome of these (thank you Fil & Ryan). We'll be getting small tester bottles filled and branded this week so we can get some of YOU to test them out and give us feedback.
🚨 GIVEAWAY DETAILS 🚨
1. Follow our page.
2. Like this post.
3. Repost or quote post.
We'll select 10 random winners to try out all 3 scents from our forthcoming fragrance line. Winners will be chosen on 11/1.

Barbarian is a lifestyle and mindset brand as much as it is a fitness brand. We'll continue to work hard and push boundaries to create high touch point products and back them with high touch point customer service. We hope you'll give our fragrances a chance and, don't worry ladies... we haven't forgotten about you with our Thyra line; just have to nail these first!
I hope you all like the theming, key art, naming, and branding I put together for these; it's been a ton of fun and I'm glad I don't have to keep this hidden anymore.
Looking forward to your feedback. Don't forget to follow the giveaway details above for your chance to be the first to sample these!

We get so caught up in optimizing that we sometimes forget to execute.
"Cardio has to be fasted." So if you can’t do it fasted, you skip it altogether.
You start sacrificing execution for perfection.
Don’t let optimizing become the reason you don’t execute it at all.
Speaking from my tendency to do this sometimes...
And it applies to more than just cardio.
Can't believe Elijah Legend is already 2 months old.
I think he's handsome. But he's also my kid! Haha
On leg day I'm like "Dang, my upper body looks tiny."
Then when I'm working upper body. I'm like "dang, my legs look small."
The pump makes a difference.
This is the wifes one month progress so far. Slow and steady. Down 10lbs exactly from last month when she started dieting and tightening things up. She is two months post partum now.
She is full time around the clock nursing, and little man is still pretty needy, so her sleep has been the biggest factor so far. Current weight is 157 and lost around an inch and half average around the ribs, mid section, waist and hips.
Will not being using peptides or anything of the sort until she is done nursing for two years.
Mrs. AFD is starting her Reforge journey. Baby boy Elijah just hit one month old so this is when Momma decided to clean the diet up and get back on track.
41 years old. Birthed 3 children of her own and raises 7 total. (I had full custody of my older 4 when she met me) 1 is in college and all the way down to 1 month.
Current weight 167.2 at 5'5.5. She was as high as 180ish at peak pregnancy.
She is nursing for 2 years. She did with both my other boys so Elijah won't be an exception. Our second boy together (Judah Fierce) had to be g-tube fed because of his facial cleft and she got up around the clock to pump for 2 years straight.
Most moms would have given up and switched to formula. She produced enough milk that she was able to support the neighbors daughter who was adopted and had donated well over 1000oz. She truly is someone that matches me well and will push through anything because it's the right thing to do. She is a rare type of woman.
She won't be using any peptides or any drugs etc. Just working out, diet, and lots of patience. She loves using BODi LAVA with Elisa Joan because it's a quick 20min workout she can fit in daily. That will be the majority of her workouts until she is able to get back into the gym. She's always been a gym rat as well.
I'll be posting monthly progress pics if you want to follow along.
She also reads all the comments and posts if you're wanting to send motivation or support 🙂

Where's everyone buying their shoes?
I don't want to buy 175 dollar shoes. I did the whole squishy thick sole thing once. Don't care for them.
Just basic trainers that don't suck. I been buying older lightly used or new Nike frees from like 2018 on poshmark. But they are getting harder to find now..
To me, one of the most respectable things a man can do is pick up the pieces after everything comes crashing down.
I've seen men lay there defeated, in their own pool of blood, wondering what the hell they're supposed to do next. More times than I can count.
But every once in a while, I see a man get knocked down, broken, beaten, exhausted, damn near executed by life itself...
And somehow, he slowly gets back up, ready to fight again.
There's something different about that man.
I've got a lot of respect for that man.
The man who loses his marriage, his career, his health, or someone he loves, and still finds a reason to keep moving forward.
Not because he's unaffected by it.
Because he's affected by it deeply, and chooses to rebuild anyway.
I've had my own battles with that process. I know what it's like when the life you thought you were going to live looks nothing like the one in front of you.
I've come to believe that sometimes the hardest seasons of our lives force us to figure out who we really are.
Maybe that drive is something a man is born with. Maybe it's built through everything he's survived.
I don't know.
But I recognize it when I see it.
It's never too late to Reforge yourself. To strip away what no longer serves you, rebuild what was broken, and become something stronger with what remains.
For the men who've had to rebuild themselves, what was the moment you realized you had to start over?
I've got my own story, but I would love to hear yours.
Chicken, potatoes and plain Greek yogurt.
That's it. That's the easiest "sauce" to put on a plain meal.
Well to update. I didn't order a new one. Was looking at alot of different ones though.
My 13 year old son wanted to take this apparent for fun and see what happened. He tested the fuse and it was fine. I told him to check the door switch...and sure enough.
Switch wasn't making good contract. I helped him "rig" it for now and we ordered some replacement switches for 3 bucks. So we are back in it with the same one.
My son is exceptional 😀
Maybe I'm weird, but I really enjoy seeing all the successful transformations tonight!
Well done everyone, y'all motivate me!
Reposting for those who get their hopes up like I do everytime 😂

Do favors for people without expecting anything in return.
I’ve learned that God has a way of blessing you in ways you never expected. It might not come from the person you helped, and it might not come when you expect it. It might come from someone completely different and completely unexpected months later. But it always seems to balance out.
I always lean toward giving more when I can.
I once gave someone a deal on a master bathroom tile job. They had a new baby, and I felt convicted to help them out.
When the job was done, they paid me twice what I asked for.
I can’t tell you how many times things like this have happened.
Obviously, we all want to be compensated fairly for our time and work. But sometimes I’ll do something for free or charge less than I normally would because I feel led to help someone.
And somehow, it always seems to work out in my favor.
Not always financially. Sometimes the return comes in a completely different way.
Just do good. Give when you can. Help when you can.
God may using you to bless someone.
