Bittersweet to see this book. Karabo was a childhood friend of mine, as were our parents. We matriculated the same year, as heads of our respective schools and went through so many firsts, milestones, growth and finally into business by our late 20’s. Karabo passed away in August 2021 during the crushing Delta wave of the pandemic; not long after his father’s passing earlier that year. He not only left a young family, great businesses, but a million more great things he was yet to do. We miss him so much and are so grateful he wrote this book when he did.
We’re on borrowed time ❤️🩹 Rest buddy

We are not in the peak of El Niño yet; the World Meteorological Organization states that the current El Niño is still intensifying and is forecast to reach its peak in December 2026.

Making someone a leader just because they've been there longest, but with zero admin skills or the will to at least read the labour relations act isn't a strategy. It's a recipe for chaos and a very stressful workplace.

Carousel was the kind of man people pray for but overlook in real life.
From the moment he risked everything to save a woman he didn’t even know, his character was loud without him saying a word. He got out of prison and did the hard work — accountability, discipline, staying out of trouble, rebuilding his life brick by brick.
When he loved Anika, he loved her right. He respected her, protected her, and stepped up for her child like she was his own.
