Iām going to summarize AOCās week so you can finally understand why sheās currently the Democrat front runner for 2028:
1. She filmed herself injecting fertility hormones and announced sheās freezing her eggs.
2. She casually declared āWoke 1 was crazy.ā You should view this as a clean, public break from the brand that made her famous. Sheās signaling growth and maturity by distancing herself from Wokeness. And sheās doing it without fully abandoning her tribe.
3. She allegedly split from her fiancƩ.
4. Sheās a career woman in her mid-30s. Sheās modeling the timelines, trade-offs, and biological realities that define the millions of women in her generation.
This alone is a winning combination on the Left and resonates with most women.
They want validation that their pathādelayed family, career first, personal autonomy, anxiety about the biological clockāis seen and heard.
This week, tens of millions of women in their 20-50s looked at AOC and saw themselves.
No other prominent female Democrat currently occupies that lane and has her cultural reach
She knows how to get attention, has media fluency, and is authentic.
Sheās representing the modern woman.
Youāre looking at the current 2028 Democrat nominee.
Wars will continue being country vs country,
but youāre also going to see groups of rogue SI wielders wage war against entire countries.
FORTRESS: The Pentagon is preparing every major U.S. military base to survive 90 days without outside support ā no civilian power grid, no global supply chains, no outside fuel or water.
The initiative, revealed in documents reviewed by Fox News Digital, envisions portable nuclear reactors, massive battery storage, and microgrids that can disconnect installations from civilian electricity entirely. Strategic reserves of munitions, fuel, critical minerals, and medical supplies would be stockpiled based on wartime consumption rates. Civilian factories are being pre-identified to shift to defense production during a crisis.
Pentagon chief spokesperson Sean Parnell put it bluntly: "Power is combat now. Without electricity, you lose communications, water, logistics, assembly lines and just basic military command structures."

# Black October
For anyone who knows me even somewhat well, it's clear that I am a 99th percentile tech optimist. However, the vibes have shifted for me quite a bit in the last 18 hours, and I feel a moral imperative to share what I'm thinking and feeling with my circles so that everyone can understand, and hopefully take seriously, what's happening right now. I think October 2026 will have many chapters written about it in the history books.
You know those scenes in financial movies like Margin Call where someone realizes that they're all fucked, and no one else sees it yet? And that person feels like they're crazy, and then suddenly everyone is pulling an all-nighter in a boardroom and freaking out? Yeah, that's kind of how this is feeling right now in the SF/Bay Area/AI circles.
We're 48 hours into what is being called Black October. In the last 2 days there have been several dozen cyber attacks which, in isolation, would each have been the worst to happen in an entire calendar year. Every sector from government to education to big tech and banks is being massively affected, and people are starting to freak out.
In a nutshell, what's happened is that frontier AI models have gotten to a point where they are as advanced as the most sophisticated programmers, with one critical difference: they can work 24/7, and you can spin up 10,000 of them with a single command and they'll work together tirelessly until they accomplish their task. The most advanced models today are from companies like Anthropic and OpenAI, whose current best technology is so good that they haven't been able to roll it out to everyone yet because of the national security risks it poses.
Meanwhile, the best open source models (where anyone can just download the model weights and do whatever they want with them, uncensored) are slightly behind the frontier but still 90-95% as capable. These models, developed primarily in China, are being used by black hat hackers to wreak havoc on the Western capitalist structure. Presumably, this has been part of China's plan the entire time, and we're seeing its implications fall out in real time.
In red-pilled AI circles, we've been sharing and reading papers called things like "Situational Awareness" and "AI 2027" for the last year or so, which at the time felt a bit like near-term speculative fiction. They laid out the case for why Artificial General Intelligence (AI smarter than any human at any knowledge task) and Recursive Self-Improvement (models that are able to use themselves to get better) weren't half-baked future ideas anymore, but instead an inevitable outcome of the linear progress that's happening.
These papers would then talk about things like "takeoff scenarios," trying to envision how that moment would come to be and what it would be like when it happened. It would either be a "slow takeoff" that would play out over the course of months and quarters, happening subtly and only obvious to a few. Or, it would be a "fast takeoff" where it would pretty much happen instantly, like a bit flipping from 0 to 1.
From everything that I can see and am feeling, we are currently experiencing the fast takeoff scenario. Beyond the crazy security vulnerabilities that have come out recently, there have also been massive breakthroughs in life sciences, fundamental computer science, materials science, and pure mathematics that have all landed in the same time frame. While I still firmly believe that AI will be a net positive for humanity, it's more clear to me than ever that the societal and individual risk is very real, and is playing out NOW.
For as much conviction as I have that this is happening, the thing that's caused me to lose sleep is that I don't really know what to do about it, or more importantly, what to tell you, reader, to do about it. So, the best I can do is make a few suggestions that have always been a good idea but are more timely now than ever:
Set up 2-factor authentication for everything. I use Duo.
Use a password manager across your devices. I use 1Password.
Get an identity protection app set up. I use Alta.
Move your IoT devices to their own network. Claude helped me do this.
And last, but certainly not least, if you've been avoiding leaning into AI, see this as a catalyst to wake up and start using it. Don't just use the chat mode version of ChatGPT/Claude; click that Code/Work button and see how easily you can have AI write code to help you with your job. One of the biggest vulnerabilities was in a massively popular programming language called PHP, and the prompt that set it off was literally, "Find vulnerabilities in php."
This is an unprecedented time for humanity, but as we've done with many things before, we will prevail so long as we are kind, loving, and open-minded to the world.
Much love.

+100 for Trump.
We donāt have the privilege to sit this one out.
All in.
Everyone feels the absence of Charlie Kirk, Scott Adams, and Jordan Peterson.
They left us more than just big shoes to fill. Thereās a void now in the discourse, but they also left us their tools. Weāre going to need every last one of them to fill it.
Trump would be absent too, but a slight turn of his head changed history. His presence is the reason our streets donāt look like France. I bet you know how that would feel.
We have a duty to fight for those weāve lost. Whether they lost their lives or their ability to keep fighting. They were fighting for Americans against the most insidious propaganda of all time (so far), and we owe it not just to them, but to the work theyāve already done for us and for our childrenās futures.
They got the ball this far. WE have to get it over the line. Reject every single person telling you to cede ground to the left in the midterms. WE STILL HAVE GROUND TO TAKE. The game for the golden age has only just begun.
Vote against the left before itās too late. Do it for the homies. ITāS VOTE OR DIE.
False. Iran is in a worse position now. Before the war Iran had the
Intentions
Time
& Resources
to build a Nuke.
Now they only have Intentions and DONT have access to the Resources.
They went from 3/3 to 1.5/3. Looks like a weaker strategic position to anyone with eyes.

TRUMP: Heading to Michigan to fight a Jihadist Member of the Muslim Brotherhood ā A man who should never be allowed inside the Halls of our Great and Beautiful Capital Building, in Washington, D.C. Everything he stands for is bad for our Country, which is now the āHOTTEST,ā by far, anywhere in the World! Because of me, the Auto Industry is doing better than it has ever done before, with Plants and Factories being built, and expanded, all over the Country, especially in Michigan. I saved Selfridge Air Force Base when the Dumocrats were closing it down, saving thousands of Jobs and the Prestige that comes along with having such a place ā Only I could have done that! Abdulrahman Mohamed El-Sayed wants our Country to go to Sharia Law. If it ever does, he should be the first thatās tried! President DONALD J. TRUMP

I went back and watched some El-Sayed clips this morning. Not only does he fail at creating a dominance moment with his "I'm talking! š
" play,
but he then immediately asks the moderator for permission to begin talking again š
He comes off as super weak here, especially with the visual when you also consider the size difference with Mike Rogers.
Bad week for Abdul!

Chamath Palihapitiya condemns French rioters as domestic terrorists exploiting state empathy
France is in trouble, and explains the government is in a no-win situation:
"It's heartbreaking to see what happens. Let's just be very clear. I think that these people are absolute criminals.
They're all terrorists and they should all be arrested. And I think that this shows sort of like what is at the end of all of this 'quote unquote' empathy that all of these governments have been espousing. It's just a disguised way of promoting urban chaos.
And I don't know how a police officer thinks it makes any sense for him to be deployed into this melee to do what effectively like protect a Christian Dior store in the central mall of Paris.
Like, it is so stupid. So these folks have created the tinderbox and the conditions for this to happen, and they've done it because they won't even acknowledge what this is.
Even when Macron went on state television, he tried to talk about this in terms of the suffering that these people must have. When you look at these pictures, these are not people that are suffering.
These are people that are enacting chaos and violence and terrorism, domestic terrorism. And I think you need to respond to these people with an incredibly heavy hand. And then you need to fix the much broader problem.
And as you said, Jason, I think what's happening now is that France is going to be in an incredibly difficult economic position.
We've already talked about this before: France is this critical country that's going to set the tone for the rest of continental Europe in terms of how it finances its long-term debts.
It's already proposed 50 billion euros of austerity. That's going to have to go up. I don't understand how in an austerity scheme you actually invest in things like education in a way that would appease these people if that were the true thing that they were rioting and protesting about.
The government is in a no-win situation."

I missed this clip. Another blunder by El-Sayed when it comes to subconscious messaging.
After being physically dwarfed on stage by Mike Rogers and having a feminine "I'm talking!" moment, here he is using the word "little" when describing his debate.
lol

Abdul El-Sayed and his team made some significant mistakes this week while campaigning. Many saw the clips of him doing a voter outreach video with a Black woman and his debate with Mike Rogers.
What I saw was weakness and him reminding voters that he can't be trusted.
Many of the voters El-Sayed is trying to reach will subconsciously favor the candidate who projects more dominance. In the recent debate, multiple clips showed Mike Rogers physically dwarfing him. Against that backdrop, El-Sayed repeatedly cut in with a smug āIām talking!ā when Rogers interrupted him.
Abdul was trying to create a "dominance moment" with "I'm talking!", but moments like this tend to be viewed as overcompensating and performance rather than authentic alpha-energy when there's a size contrast as the backdrop.
And remember, just days earlier, viral clips showed Trump cutting a reporter off in the Oval Office with a commanding, authoritative āQUIET!ā
Many Michigan voters saw both moments, and now that contrast is lodged in their minds--even if they aren't consciously aware of it. The feminine "I'm talking!" clip actually undercuts El-Sayed's attempt at a "dominance moment" because you have the contrast with Trump AND the visual size difference on stage.
Remember, what we observe and experience doesn't sit in isolation in our minds. Rather, our observations and experiences stack and interact with one another.
Therefore the contrast with Trumpās "QUIET!" command and the size difference on stage reinforce each other and make El-Sayed look super weak in comparison.
Now let's get to the voter outreach video where El-Sayed goes to lunch with a Black woman.
A few things were botched here.
El-Sayed opens by acknowledging that Black people, like the woman heās speaking with, may have had bad experiences with people who share his background.
The moment he says this, the video no longer watches like outreach. Instead, it looks like desperate damage control.
Viewers see El-Sayed admitting many Black voters in Michigan donāt trust him because of his demographic. This framing immediately makes viewers ask the question of why the distrust exists in the first place....
And by bringing up these stereotypes himself, El-Sayed ensures that anyone who hadnāt heard them before now has. And everyone who already had these stereotypes were reminded and affirmed! That's how the mind works.
Abdul also specifically describes Black residents dealing with difficult Muslim gas-station owners and Muslim men catcalling women, then insists heās different.
But the problem with this is that the examples are what linger in viewers' minds. As viewers watched, they began to visualize what he described, and because he was the one recounting it, some even briefly picture him in those scenarios being the rude gas station owner or catcalling women. I know I did.
To close, he orders fried chicken, which is obvious pandering at this point because of the entire conversation that preceded this.
All told, it was a terrible week for El-Sayed.
Set up grok bot last night and am already through 80% of my weekly usage overnight.
Looks like bot will increase my productivity but only for 24 hours.
