First time this season we have seen Zion take control of the game and call his own number consistently. It's also his best offensive half, up to 18

Pelicans showing a lot more life in the final minutes of the second half . Zion has been very good .
Zion is far from perfect but for the team to be successful he needs to be aggressive and take atleast 15-20 shots a game
So much wrong with the pelicans from the product on the court to the process from the front office . The fans deserve so much more

The Pelicans blowing it up makes the most sense but waiting this long could hurt them in the long run.
Poole's and Herb's trade value is in the gutter
Murray might play better but this season is his last guaranteed year left on his deal
And then there is Zion

Real question is there any way the pelicans can Ajay Mitchell and first rounder in trade for Herb Jones ?

Like Murray but he’s just a bad fit with the pelicans and is constantly playing a role he clearly isn’t made for

The pelicans finally looking to move herb jones while also hurting his trade value is unfortunately very on brand
The Pelicans are open to trading Herb Jones, who is averaging just 3 points in 17 minutes per game, per @FearTheBrown
New Orleans is reportedly asking for two first-round picks in return.
“League sources say the Pelicans have held firm at an asking price near two first-round picks, though no team has met that figure. Many in the league believe Jones' value will continue to go down if his minutes continue to be sporadic. Jones' contract is also slated to jump next year from $14.9 million to $20.8 million. Nevertheless, several playoff teams view Jones as a valuable cultural and basketball fit.”
