I think what Turo hosts would appreciate more than anything in the world would be self cleaning, self returning vehicles. @EZebroni, what say you?
The future of road trips just pulled up. ⚡️ ️ Tesla FSD (Supervised) is now on Turo, with eligible hosts getting a complimentary one-month trial to get more guest-favorite cars ready to go. 👀

I had a,tire failure with my wife's car, with very little miles on her Tesla, both sidewall separated from the rear driver side tire. Clearly a manufacturer defect, there even was a recall on a similar of their tires. I contacted them, they made me ship the three broken parts back, the end. No money, no nothing.
Why does @Michelin not stand behind their tire warranty? My F150 Platinum made it 44,000 miles on 70,000-mile-warranted Defender LTX tires and the tire shop says there is nothing they can do. I even have receipts proving three different tire rotations and they don’t care. I pay extra for nice long-warranty Michelins so I know I’m covered so it’s not great to find out they’re really not.

The magic of RoboTaxi.
I just had a guy come up to me at the car wash while I was vacuuming out my car and ask me what I thought about my Tesla. I told him it’s the only car I will ever drive, and what he said after that is what surprised me the most. He said that he has been using Robotaxi over the past few weeks here in Dallas with friends and is now considering purchasing a Tesla for himself after experiencing self driving in the @Robotaxi. This is a real world example of how Robotaxi is actually selling Teslas with every ride that it gives. Buckle up. The word is spreading, and this is just the beginning…

My @comma_ai 3X stopped going onroad in my Lightning last night. Wasn’t the harness or BluePilot - the internal panda was stuck in DFU and failed 160+ recovery flashes 60s unplug did nothing. 5 min unplug fixed it. Looks like a known STM32H7 power config lock that only clears on a full cold boot Then I installed stock openpilot to test and it upgraded AGNOS to 19.9. Every BluePilot branch needs 18.5 or older, so BP 7.0 just sat on the boot logo 😅 Had to flash 18.5 back over SSH. Calibrated and driving again. Better than needing to buy a new one! Also - bp-7.0 runs a full build check every boot. Adding a prebuilt file took boot from 108s to 15s

I know some missed my daily clip of Autobahn driving. I actually recorded more than two hours of it and then my iPhone battery died. With higher speeds and bad weather, looking at a phone is a total no no. I pulled over, connected the phone with a charging cable and got some nice 5+ minutes of higher speeds. Also, let me know how many ladders, sofas, washing machines, AC units and tires you counted on the side of the road.

I know the Tesla community loves to hate the bald man but his videos are actually really educational and they aren’t all complete mindless tech torture porn. @ZacksJerryRig removed the nano display cover to show you how much better the colors look without it. Kinda interesting I also learned it’s only $50 to get it replaced. Not bad if you just have some light scratches. A side by side comparison I’ve never seen before. Not many people have the balls or the money to make these kind of videos.

The iPhone Duo is the MS Plaid or Cyberbeast product of Apple. Everyone will let you know they have it if they do.

Here in Germany, every start of a @Shell EV chatging session hits you with a 45 Euro deposit. That's about $50 each.

So, kinda like, sorta this here then?
Tesla has reported the first Cybercab crash to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). According to the report, a Cybercab was traveling at approximately 5 mph (8 km/h) when it drove into a large, water-filled pothole, causing damage to the vehicle. Personally, I don't think this incident should be viewed in the same way as a typical traffic accident. At the time, a safety monitor was inside the vehicle, and there were no passengers. While the vehicle sustained damage and the incident was officially reported as a crash, I believe it makes more sense to view this as an edge case encountered during autonomous driving development and testing. After all, identifying and learning from these unusual scenarios is an essential part of improving autonomous driving technology and making it safer and more reliable.
