My first thought was the bigger the company, the shorter the commitment. But maybe that's changing? Apple, Microsoft, and even Facebook seem to be ramping up OSM contributions and have been for a while.

Making some major progress on this 2000 piece world map puzzle. Most difficult geographies for me: Arctic Canada/Russia, Indian Ocean, Caribbean islands, Antarctica and southwest Pacific. The rest came quickly! #gischat

Thanks for the interest, but this isn't helpful. OSMF are engaged and they are supportive. We are investigating different sustainable options, least preferable would be blanket policy change to disallow 3rd party usage of tiles.
