The most famous Greek to come to India was of course Alexander the Great. He arrived at the head of an invading army in 326 BC – but he left as a friend. Every Indian schoolchild knows of how Alexander and Porus fought a pitched battle and then became allies #PresidentKovind

BREAKING: Another 5 Christians killed in overnight attacks near Rev. Ezekiel Dachomo's compound in central Nigeria
Sources say armed men shouting “Allahu’Akbar” (God is great in Arabic) attacked a civilian watchpost in Sabon Angwa, about 1 mile from Dachomo's church, at 7pm Thursday. 4 local guards were killed.
While bodies were still at the scene, another attack early Friday in Rakung — 600m from the church — killed 1 resident. Unclear if Rev. Dachomo was targeted.
The attack comes days after 7 people were killed in Gyero, Gyel, on the outskirts of Jos. #Plateau #BarkinLadi

I received a report – we carried out two missile strikes, destroying two Russian Su-34s and hitting an Iskander launcher. Thank you, guys, for this result! Another aspect of our anti-ballistic work is the packages of interceptors, primarily for Patriots, that our partners can provide us. They must protect lives. We now have intel about the Russians preparing new ballistic missile attacks. We need the capabilities to shoot down this Russian evil and are awaiting the decisions. Thank you to everyone who really helps us!

Ethiopian Christians bury their brothers and sisters by the dozens — all of them slaughtered by Muslim scum.
No marches in the streets. No protests. No media time. No podcasters shrieking into their microphones. No outcry.
Just… dead quiet.
If it wasn’t for @elonmusk and X, you’d never hear or see anything about it.

15-year-olds Yana and Masha. 💔 Killed by a Russian missile strike on Chernihiv on today.
The girls were 10th-grade students. They had their whole lives ahead of them. If only it weren't for Russia.

A father screams in anguish beside the body of his dead daughter. Two 15-year-old girls were killed in a russian attack on the center of Chernihiv, Ukraine.
Dozens are injured, including four children aged 10, 16, and 17, and a 10-month-old baby girl.
Meanwhile, Trump has ordered Ukriane not to hit russian oil refineries, so that russia could make billions and build more rockets and drones to kill more Ukrainians.
Turks are out here insulting the whole world just because they're scared of a DNA test.
While being casually misogynistic like it's nothing.
Stop fighting it. It's just a DNA test!! 😭

HARD TO FIND ANYTHING TURKISH IN WHAT IS NOW CALLED TURKEY!
Despite the tremendous efforts of Turkish nationalists to Turkify everything, it is difficult to find much in what is now called Turkey that is genuinely of Turkish origin.
Modern Turkey’s borders were drawn after the First World War, followed by systematic attempts to appropriate the region’s culture, music and history. Yet the historical record tells a very different story.
Turkic groups arrived in the region in later waves, bringing their language and political power. Even the star and crescent, now central to Turkey’s national flag, appeared in ancient Mesopotamian and Greco-Roman contexts more than a millennium before the Ottoman Empire.
The claim that the star and crescent originated with the Turks is a fabrication. There is no credible archaeological or numismatic evidence that this emblem originated with the Turks. Its history long predates its adoption by the Ottoman state.

I have to admit that the Patrick Star meme was a nuclear level insult.
Just walked past a Kebab restaurant with Turkish flags decor everywhere, but all I could see was Patrick with a parachute. 😅
