4th in 5v5 points on the team. The only minutes he played, and he didn't play much of them. Not flashy, but productive and the opposing team almost never scored when he was on the ice. We traded that for a 28 year old bag of pucks. Could have locked Kakko up, for nothing. But Drury pride, I guess. The same Drury who put us out of a Cup with one second left, then ate up one of the worst contracts we've ever given, and now tanked a championship calibre team. Doh.
I hope there isn’t a net at the end of the rink or the poor kid is going to get dropped and left behind as he skates away.

I’m still stunned by what I watched tonight. I shouldn’t be but I am. This Rangers team has shown all year long that they are never out of a game. I doubted them. I should know better.
Over these last 36 hours it’s been nice to see that Ranger fans are not prone to irrational swings of jubilance/depression when watching regular season games that do not mean anything beyond answering whether you should be a buyer or seller at the TDL.
I started wondering where all of these Igor hot takes were coming from and then I remembered how the Neanderthal wing of our fandom treated Hank and it all started to make sense to me.
Wow. It’s almost as if it’s hard to win hockey games when you are missing three of your top 6 and have to play AHL fodder in your lineup.
