A lot of my followers remembered Wok With Yan, but what about Celebrity Cooks with Bruno Gerussi?
Bruno was the star of The Beachcombers & from 1975 to 1987 he hosted his cooking show Celebrity Cooks
His celebrity guests included Jean Beliveau, Dave Letterman & Margaret Trudeau

Friday Feature: Davidson House at 10 Ruskin Row! Built between 1912 and 1913, it was one of the most extravagant mansions in the city. There were 37 rooms, including a ballroom big enough to host parties with over 300 guests. It was demolished in 1963.

Very sad to hear about the passing of Tina Turner. Her talent was beyond measure.

RT if you’d rather swear allegiance to Count Binface than King Charles III.

You may be cool, but you’ll never be Parisian-lady-reading-the-paper-in-her cannabis-garden-with-her-cat-around-1910-cool.

ALT A black and white photo of a very respectable looking, young, white lady, in typically Edwardian dress. It’s a like black dress, buttoned up the front. Her dark hair is tied back in that loose way that covers her ears. She is wearing a back choker necklace. She is sitting at a small table, that has a tabby cat on it. She’s reading a paper, which is on her lap. She is looking directly at the camera. Behind her and the cat is a very large cannabis plant. The cat must have jumped into, or is starting to jump out, of shot because it’s blurry. The blurring has the effect of making the cat look quite manic and wild eyed. A cannabis garden is probably the best place for it.

Is there anything more evocative than Edwardian twilight? I have cleaned & enhanced this 1910 autochrome of Eastbourne Pier, taken by Ellis Kelsey 112 years ago. It is an original colour photograph (not colourised).@EastbournePier
