This kind of thinking is why I always always always advise people who are thinking about quitting to find their next job first.
If there is one business lesson I wish I had learned earlier it is to steal employees from other companies. The quality is night and day vs dudes looking for jobs.

A company can eliminate your position. It can't delete your experience. 💛 Take the time you need. When you're ready, ApplyAll handles repetitive applications so you can focus on your next move. Your next team still gets everything you've worked hard to become.

After all the applications, interviews, and waiting, finally getting hired feels like a weight off your shoulders.

Our goal isn't just to fill out X number of applications, our goal is to get you a job!

In order to align those incentives we have a money-back guarantee. You get interviews or you get your money back. This means we are highly motivated not to slop-apply. Every application we send costs us money to process. We aren't wasting our time on slop.

How much does timing matter when you're applying to a job? We analyzed 130,684 applications with interview outcomes and the answer was not what we expected. 3–5 day old listings have an interview rate of about 1.20%, but interview rates effectively plateau for jobs anywhere from 5–60 days old. Whether a job is 1 week old or 7 weeks old, the interview rate hovers at about 1%. At the oldest end, listings that were at least 120 days old had a lower interview-request rate: 0.75%. That's ~8 requests per 1,000 applications, but still not as bad as you'd think!

It's gone K-shaped. Some people struggle for months, some are over-employed. Based on @ApplyAllJobs data, interview rates are ~1% and the interview process takes a month or more. If it takes you a month to fill out 500 applications for ~5 interviews converting to 1 offer... then you're looking at a 2 month+ job search.
I haven’t looked for a job in over a decade, so I’ll ask. Is the job market really that f#cked? Are high skilled people really waiting months to get a job? Or are people just saying it’s terrible for engagement on social?

How do you even interview a SWE in 2026 when AI is writing all of the actual code? Does anything you learned in compsci still matter at this point? Probably only at the highest levels of abstraction.
Replying to @AnthonyCastrio
Interview: "What's the big-O complexity of your algorithm?" Real Life: "Claude, my program hangs when I do the thing. Fix that."

The main thing we do @ApplyAllJobs is help people cast a wide net. We find & apply to every job with an open application. People find this useful bc it frees up your energy to focus on 1-1 outreach, friendships, projects. Much higher-leverage for a creative person vs filling out the 99th identical application!

Three interview calls in the first week. An offer in about a month. That’s what one ApplyAll customer shared after struggling to get interviews on his own.
