When I was growing up, my parents did not have a lot of money. They did not go to college. But they made sure I did my homework, and when I brought home the Scholastic book order form each month, they let me pick out a book to order. 1 / 3

For too long, our community has been left behind - on housing, homelessness, healthcare, education, climate, and more. That’s why I'm excited to announce that I am running for Assembly. Together, we must fight for the representation we deserve.
As we get a handle on the Covid pandemic (get your shot!), let’s work on the epidemic of deaths due to drug abuse. @CStoneBmont @Lparmerlohan @BORN_SF @respinoza22 @nicoleannette00 @zacheryross apnews.com/article/overdose-…
Thru social connections, treatment, education, and economic opportunities, we can reduce the number of “deaths of despair” due to drug and alcohol abuse and suicide. @ACMelendrez @SMCPolitical @elmermmartinez @davina_belmont @MatesJulia @nancyyar @CliffordSRobbi2 @Ry_lrs
“A recent study of CA deaths found that Hispanic Americans between…20 and 54 were 8.5X more likely than white Americans in that age range to die of Covid-19.” This disparity is unconscionable. nytimes.com/2021/06/14/healt…
I’m in this age range. You’re in this age range. What do we do now to keep this from happening again, and to help families who have lost loved ones? @CStoneBmont @davina_belmont @MatesJulia @respinoza22 @ACMelendrez @Ry_lrs @EddieFloresSSF @zacheryross @nicoleannette00 @pydems
