I think millennials are having a factory reset. Nobody wants their career. Nobody wants corporate culture. Nobody wants another fucking productivity app. We just want a little house, some hobbies, financial security and to be left the fuck alone. Apparently that’s radical now.

Immigrants come to the United States without ever having to learn Black history and immediately side with white supremacy when Black people are the only reason they have rights!

I just don’t think many of you are intelligent enough to partake in a lot of conversations. Especially with your inability to see other perspectives outside of your own and how yall talk to ppl who don’t agree with you.

Job interviews be like, "What can you do?" Dude, I'm a millennial born in the '90s. Just tell me what I need to know, & I'll master it in 3 days.

The literacy crisis isn’t that people can’t read the words. It’s that they can’t understand the context, infer meaning, recognise nuance, identify contradictions, or draw logical conclusions from what they’ve read

Do you remember when radio stations used to give away concert tickets and backstage passes? | just heard a midday radio giveaway, and now the prizes are groceries, a year of gas, or rent paid. It's a strange reminder that survival has become the prize. That's pretty sad.

The word "slavery" is too small for what happened. People were hunted, chained, branded, raped, tortured, sold, and worked to death. Families disappeared. Languages, names, and traditions were stripped away. It was one of history's greatest crimes against humanity.πŸ€

Love that celebrities are getting their fibroid stories out. Most recently Porsha. I also want to precaution women who don’t have access to personal fertility specialists that your experience will more than likely differ GREATLY. Scheduling the procedure alone may take MONTHS

Bob Mackie should be the subject of next year’s Met Gala theme. A Costume Institute exhibition devoted to his extraordinary legacy in costume, celebrity fashion, performance, glamour, and theatricality would be long overdue. His work deserves to be experienced as fashion history, not just nostalgia.

All due respect to Ben Shelton and not enough characters to *really* dissect it #onhere, but the β€œone-drop” rule does an incredible disservice to the representation and historical achievements of actual full-blooded Black-Americans.

See how racism works? They found out the lone holdout juror was Black and now they're digging up anything and everything from his past to discredit him. That's some crazy work. All for a white lady that killed 3 of her kids with an exercise band. πŸ€¦πŸΎβ€β™‚οΈ

currently mourning the fact that, not only are people generally becoming more illiterate & less academically capable, but also: -more cruel -less respectful of the arts & humanities -less curious -less creative -worse at understanding nuance / hypotheticals / abstract concepts
