So Azerbaijan is reportedly behind the corruption of the former German intelligence chief. When will Europe wake up to Azerbaijan as not just a source of oil but also a dictatorship that uses unseemly means including repression to retain power? trib.al/ZsaGToQ

BREAKING: Assyrians in Iraq are staging a peaceful protest against Christian land theft.
This is happening today.
Land encroachment by Kurds in the KRG continues. Even when encroachments are deemed illegal, judgements are not being enforced.
This is official and unofficial. It could be a villager building on land that isn’t his, it could be the government rezoning an area that isn’t owned by them.
Going on for decades. A few recent examples:
- A plan to seize 370 acres of Assyrian land in Bakhetme was revealed in 2026.
- According to the Assyrian National Broadcasting organization, over 22,239 acres of Christian land across 82 villages has been seized between 1961 & 2013
- According to one report, there are over 130 illegal village seizures in the KRG, facilitated through active involvement or passive endorsement of KRG authorities
- In 2020, 117 Assyrian families lost access to 75% of their lands after the KRG reversed a law intended to protect Assyrian ownership
- Ongoing dam projects in Bakrman, Dalia & Mandawa risk destroying Assyrian villages & displacing them permanently
- In 2021, 1000 dunams of farmland near Erbil Airport was seized without notice or confiscation. The airport was built on confiscated Chaldean Catholic & Assyrian farmland.
This is happening on the world’s watch. There are good people in the KRG who don’t want this to happen, but sadly the machine of land theft continues. There is no legal system if legal judgements aren’t enforced.
This has to stop. All Assyrians in the diaspora must do their part. The tools at your disposal. Create a land registry, mobilize lawyers like @AlexKarana, and through peaceful means keep your ancestral homeland.
END CHRISTIAN LAND THEFT IN IRAQ!

Bibi Netanyahu told Fox News that some Lebanese Christian villages have asked Israel to annex them.
I believe it. I lived in Lebanon for 15 years and know how many Christians dream of being annexed by Israel. They are tired of being part of the Islamized Lebanese state.

Why in the world is the Trump administration empowering the Pakistan-Qatar-Turkey triangle?
These 3 nations aren’t U.S. allies.
Far from it.
Nor do they share our values & interests.
Far from it.
Nor are they partners for peace, democracy & coexistence.
Far from it.

Turkey - Israel Pissing Contest: Israel's cabinet has unanimously recognized the Armenian genocide, with FM Gideon Sa'ar accusing Ankara of "institutionalized denial" and historical revisionism. The move comes amid rapidly deteriorating Turkey-Israel relations and is likely to trigger a sharp diplomatic response from Ankara, adding another flashpoint to an already volatile regional rivalry. #Turkey #Israel #ArmenianGenocide #MiddleEast

Christianity is the reason women are treated as equally valuable in our society instead of subjugated.
Christianity is the reason that slavery was ended in our society.
Christianity is the reason we allow other religions to exist in our society.
Christianity is the reason we have laws that declare the accused as innocent until proven guilty.
Christianity is the reason we care for the elderly, handicapped, and poor instead of disposing of them.
Christianity is the reason we sacrifice for the good of future generations.
So yah, teaching the Bible in public schools is probably a good idea.

Government approved: Israel recognizes the Armenian genocide.
Today (Sunday), the Israeli government unanimously approved the proposal by Foreign Minister Gideon Saar to recognize the Armenian genocide.
Foreign Minister Gideon Saar at the cabinet meeting: "It is never too late to do the right thing"

🚨Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar:
“Just a short while ago, the Government of Israel approved the resolution I brought before it to officially recognize the Armenian Genocide.
This horrific genocide, which took place more than a century ago and whose historical facts are no longer seriously disputed, claimed the lives of 1.5 million people and destroyed an ancient cultural and historical heritage.
As Jews, and especially as the nation-state of the Jewish people, I believe it is our moral duty to make this decision. I want to thank Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for his support and my fellow cabinet ministers for backing this historic step.”

This is a historic move, Israel always stands on the right side of history.

Allah Got Basic Science Wrong
If the Quran is the literal word of the God who created the universe, why does it contain basic scientific errors that every 7th-century Arab believed?
It says the Earth is flat and spread like a carpet, the sun sets in a muddy spring, and that semen comes from between the backbone and the ribs.
These are not metaphors. These are clear scientific mistakes.
Two billion people follow this book blindly, never questioning these obvious errors, and become violent when anyone points them out.
So here’s the simple truth:
Either the Creator of the universe doesn’t understand his own creation or the Quran was written by men of that time.
You shouldn’t be so certain about a book full of 7th-century scientific errors, and you definitely shouldn’t kill people for questioning it.

Something I have personally lobbied for in this country for many years now — and a long overdue recognition:
The Israeli government has unanimously approved Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar’s proposal to officially recognize the Armenian Genocide.
“It is never too late to do the right thing” said Foreign Minister Saar.
The Armenian Genocide, largely seen as a precursor to the Holocaust, was the systematic mass killing and deportation of Armenian Christians carried out by the (Muslim) Ottoman Empire from 1915-1917, resulting in the deaths ~1.5 million people. Until today, Turkey has refused to take responsibility, destroyed evidence in attempt to hide their crimes against humanity, and even persecuted those who spoke out about it.
I am pleased to see Israel take the right step in recognising this horrific tragedy with a brilliant nation that against all odds has survived on the face of Islamist neighbors seeking to eliminate it — just as Israel has.
That said, I remain heartbroken about the horrific conduct of Azerbaijan towards Armenians using Israeli weapons, and this is something that must be addressed, but this recognition is an excellent first step for two nations facing very similar histories and threats.

I will bring before the Israeli government at its next meeting a proposed resolution for the official recognition by the Government of Israel of the Armenian Genocide.
Recognizing the genocide perpetrated against the Armenian people in the final years of the Ottoman Empire is both a moral and historical duty.
We must also firmly condemn any denial, minimization, or distortion of the historical truth.
The resolution will subsequently be brought before the Knesset for a vote.

“Peace” in Azerbaijani terms: first, 400,000 Armenians forcibly displaced from Soviet Azerbaijan (by 1991), then 120,000 Armenians ethnically cleansed from Artsakh/Nagorno-Karabakh (2023)… & now the time to conquer Armenia by labelling it “Western Azerbaijan” & rewriting history
