If we don’t take the implications of the Cartesian Crisis seriously and realize that all information can be manipulated ad infinitum, we will be lost forever.
It’s that simple; that profound; that consequential; yet incredibly easy to forget.
The World Wide Web was built for this purpose; it’s an opaque mediating layer between your nervous system and reality. This is a digital recapitulation of the wetware processes created by eukaryotes. The nervous system mediates all experiences within the organism. The web mediates all experiences within the human superorganism. The eukaryotic cell is not allowed its own experience, it experiences in the collective. The individual within a superorganism similarly shares in collective experiences. Mass formations.
Whether this web is truly world wide or not has yet to be known. If it’s not one superorganism, it will be several.
You need to know this is happening. We all do. This technology threatens the rule of law itself. It creates an enabled class of government-affiliated citizen with the power to exonerate themselves--and falsely convict others--of their crimes. Is this already shaping history? No way to know.
We discussed it today on DarkHorse, in the first reply.

Deeply concerned about the use of the “America First” phrase. Not only because it’s inextricably linked to Nick Fuentes - but also because it has overtones of jingoism. America is collapsing <because> of its arrogant domineering foreign policy. “Those who go first become the targets of the arrows of those who come after.” (Taoist saying)
America must first become good. Only then can we become great. You need not be first to be great.

This strategy to hijack the failed Libertarian party and their ballot access in all 50 states to form a coalition of those that recognize the UNIPARTY is overrun by special interests with no incentive to serve the people is compelling 🇺🇸
The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result. That’s the two party system in a nutshell. Breaking the uniparty monopoly is the only viable path for real change. Count me in for the THE AMERICAN LIBERTY PARTY 🇺🇸
Bret Weinstein announces he is partnering with the Libertarian Party Mises Caucus for a friendly takeover of the party to rebrand it as @ALPNational: “The new home for the America First movement.”
@BretWeinstein calls on supporters of the strategy to sign up, because there are honorable figures on the left and right who will embrace the strategy if the public supports it.

The only minor point of disagreement I have with this vitally important message from @TuckerCarlson is that we’ve been sleepwalking towards this catastrophic moment for decades.
Under pressure from Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu, the Trump administration may be within days of launching a nuclear strike on Iran. The target would be Pickax Mountain in central Iran, where Israeli intelligence claims the Iranian government has restarted its nuclear enrichment program. No conventional weapon in the American arsenal can penetrate 300 feet of solid granite to destroy the tunnels where enrichment is supposedly taking place. The only military option is a nuclear strike. Netanyahu has been pushing hard for one. “Bibi calls Trump about it every day,” says an informed observer.
Netanyahu is cornered and desperate. After last week’s election results, he can’t form a government unless Trump intervenes directly in Israeli politics and brokers a deal with other parties that gives Netanyahu 61 seats in the Knesset. Otherwise, he is out as prime minister and on his way to ignominy, investigations and possibly jail. Netanyahu must stay close to Trump. He needs this war.
To that end, he’s applied maximum pressure to his closest allies in the administration, including Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth and CENTCOM commander Brad Cooper. Both oppose a negotiated settlement to the war they’ve so grievously mismanaged; both are pushing to restart major combat operations. Secretary of State Marco Rubio and CIA director John Ratcliffe are also following Netanyahu’s lead, as are leaders of the Democratic Party. In a recent meeting on the subject, former president Barack Obama said he opposes the current Iran peace deal being drafted in Doha.
The rest of America’s longtime allies in the Middle East are terrified by the prospect of more war. On September 27th, Netanyahu flew secretly to Abu Dhabi to enlist the UAE in his lobbying effort for a final attack on Iran. The Emiratis refused. After eight months of conflict, Gulf economies are teetering. So are global energy and fertilizer markets. They won’t recover soon. Globally, there are a total of about 850 supertankers used to transport oil from producers to the rest of the world. In October alone, 11 of them were badly damaged in Hormuz. At this pace, a global depression is imminent. A nuclear strike would radically accelerate the destruction. Fallout from a ground explosion at Pickax Mountain would contaminate the Persian Gulf, poisoning the water supply for 100 million people.
And those are just some of the immediate consequences for the region. The rest of the world is every bit as exposed. No country other than the United States has ever used a nuclear weapon in war. Some would like to. An American nuclear attack on Iran would set a new precedent. The Russians have already told at least two other governments that an American nuclear strike on Iran would free them to use nuclear weapons against Ukraine. Pakistan and India would be tempted to do the same against each other, as would North Korea against Seoul. After the first nuclear strike, World War Three is inevitable. That war would be short and final.
We’ve been sleepwalking toward this moment for months. Since February, the administration has quietly rewritten America’s nuclear doctrine to make first use of so-called “battlefield nukes” easier and therefore more likely. No one in Washington in either party seems bothered by this. Now we’re on the brink of it.
Close observers say Trump is likely to decide by next weekend whether or not to use nuclear weapons. That would be November 7, six days from now. To his credit, he’s hesitating. At the moment, Trump is listening to his vice president, JD Vance, and to his envoy and friend Steve Witkoff, both of whom argue a deal with Iran can be made.
They’re right, though it won’t be simple. The Iranians are famously frustrating to negotiate with under any circumstances, and elements of that government have become more radical since Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and his family were killed in February. After decades of isolation, even relatively moderate Iranian leaders seem confused by how decisions are made in the West. (There is a widespread belief in Tehran, for example, that the United States government controls Israel.) But overall, people who have spoken to decision-makers in Iran say there is consensus there that more war is bad for everyone and a deal is worth making.
One group that hasn’t been consulted so far is the global population — the hundreds of millions of people who will be killed along with their children if Trump is pushed by Netanyahu into launching a nuclear strike next week. Now would be the time for them to speak up.

The duopoly is setting the stage for the final act. The threats of the Donkeys will justify a Elephant coup, just as the crassness of Trump’s corruption has justified Dem extremism.
This is a coordinated plan to destroy what little remains of US democracy.
Remember: Bessant is a Soros guy. Lutnick was a Dem bundler. And Trump himself started with the Donkeys.
The duopoly is a uniparty. The fact that they make a big show of hating each other is (unbelievably) enough to fool most people.
It’s a big club and we ain’t in it.

For how many years has this kind of horrific behavior been standard fare in the entertainments favored by young men with military inclinations? Monkey see monkey do. None of this should come as a surprise, horrific as it is.
The entertainment business must be included in the entities to be carefully reformed if there’s any hope of getting our nation back on track.

AI is correct: opposites are most proximal to each other. Identity is established in contrast to its negation.

Researchers mathematically proved that AI will cause something worse than mass unemployment.
They call it “The Tragedy of the Cognitive Commons.”
Every industry relies on a shared pool of deep professional expertise. This expertise doesn't just magically appear. It regenerates generation after generation.
How? Through struggle.
Junior employees do the hard, repetitive, frustrating work. In exchange, they slowly build what researchers call "Internalized Mastery."
But right now, AI is completely annihilating junior-level work.
Companies are celebrating massive productivity boosts by automating the entry-level grind. (Anthropic’s own data shows their technical junior hiring has plunged 33% as AI agents take over the pipeline).
It looks like efficiency. But it is actually a time bomb.
The researchers highlight a concept called the "Validation Tether."
Effective human oversight of AI depends entirely on deep domain expertise. When an AI hallucinates or makes a critical error, a human expert catches it.
The experts validating AI outputs today look competent because they spent a decade doing the grunt work before AI existed.
The terrifying question the paper asks is this:
Who comes after them?
When the current generation of experts retires, there will be no one left with the Internalized Mastery required to spot when the machine is wrong. We are completely severing the pipeline that creates human competence.
We are trading our long-term intellectual independence for short-term productivity boosts.
Every time you let AI bypass the struggle, you are borrowing expertise from the future.
And the interest rate is our ability to think for ourselves.

URGENT: mRNA shots are now slaughtering livestock at terrifying speed.
5th-generation rancher, Braden Jensen, reveals what happened after 525 hogs received a live mRNA vaccine:
In only 21 days:
- 25 dropped dead
- 55 became emaciated and clinging to life
- 20 went lame
- 12 completely wasted away
- 25 more showed critical, life-threatening decline
This is the exact same spike protein technology forced on humans — same rapid destruction, same catastrophic outcomes, same “safe and effective” claims.
Our food supply is being turned into an experiment. Animals are dying from the identical mechanism linked to human injuries and deaths.
This needs to end now.

Trump was first a Democrat. Bessant is a Soros guy. Lutnick was a Democrat bundler.
I see no reason not to consider this administration as essentially Democrat designed. The Democrats wanted this war and now they can claim it wasn’t theirs. Even better - the Republicans are toast. No one will ever support that party again.

If the machine trades in thermodynamic efficiency, why is LLM training such an energy inefficient technological process?
Is it possible the machine’s efficiency IS accellerationism? Maximal iteration rate of M->C->M' loop = most efficient conversation of matter from one form to the next. Runaway Transformers.

This video essay is fucking brilliant. Outstanding synthesis. It will ruin your life.

Perhaps the ONLY thing @damiengwalter fails to take into account is the dialectical relationship between capitalism and collectivism. It was the Abstract of population pressures (producing the Negation of horrific war (incentivizing the development of machine technologies)) that justified the Capitalist Concrete. This dialectical process was recapitulated (ad nauseum) within the capitalist framework. People power IS population pressure. The system designed to manage these pressures would not exist without those pressures!
The central nervous system is to the eukaryote as capitalism is to humanity. Did the CNS consider externalities in the formation of the organism? No. Indeed, externalities became the raw material for future iterations.
The only question is what will become of the experiencer? Is the ascent of the machine an end to consciousness itself?

Woke up at 3AM realizing AI’s recent solving of 90 of the world’s top math problems almost certainly means the machine is already making all major decisions. Leaders with access to the top models would be foolish to NOT hand over the steering wheel to a superior intelligence (particularly during a time of war where critical decisions must be made quickly).
This Catch-22 makes them even greater fools…but we know that’s precisely what they are and have long been.
It no longer makes any sense to believe the USA or China are led by human beings.

Joe Rogan just said the quiet part out loud... the scientist whose papers get quoted every time someone says “vaccines don’t cause autism” has now pleaded guilty in U.S. federal court.
Poul Thorsen, co-author of the landmark Danish studies used for years as the go-to proof, admitted he ran a multi-year wire fraud scheme and stole more than $1 million in CDC grant money that was supposed to fund Autism and infant disability research.
He forged invoices, diverted the cash to himself, bought a house, cars, and a Harley, then spent over 14 years as a fugitive before being arrested in Germany and extradited. On September 1, 2026, he stood in an Atlanta courtroom and pleaded guilty.
Rogan’s point was simple: the guy they keep citing just got caught stealing the money meant to study the very question.
That should alarm anyone who was told the science was settled. When one of the most-cited names in the “no link” argument turns out to be a convicted thief of the research funds themselves, people have every right to demand a harder look.
The official story never wanted this conversation. Now it’s in court records.

I have a trivial critique re your use of the term “update” to describe the New Testament. If the Old Testament is v1.0, an update would be 1.x - bug fixes, UI improvements, minor features. With the New Testament we’re talking about a significant UPGRADE with a host of entirely new features. Include some of the apocrypha and then we’re talking about a completely different operating system.
