Drawing parallels between Digger and One Battle After Another makes perfect sense. Both are maximalist, uncompromising pieces of visual invention from elite directors. But while One Battle After Another had a universally unifying impact on film culture, Digger’s impact is defined by pure, chaotic division. Alejandro G.
