significant stepping stones. i’d say that ~30% of the yellowpaper effort was implemented in L1 as kip21. it’s the significant part for standalone apps bcs it allows the proving effort to be proportional to the app activity (and not on global L1 activity), which makes small/mid apps economically viable.
and now the part Max is sharing is the very significant offchain infrastructure for utilizing these capabilities
Always surprise me that in 2026 certain people still believe that Bitcoin will replace fiat.
It cant and it never will
Not bitcoin, not kaspa, not any other…just another fiat can replace fiat 😃
“Kaspa beyond the price chart”
Could be worth following this guy if you are interested in more kaspa details
@KaspaScopio
Kaspa moves fast. So do the claims about it.
I’m Daniel. I run this account to answer a simple question: what actually works today?
I read release notes, follow the public code and look for real tests. Then I try to explain what I find without pretending every idea is already a finished product. Sometimes the answer is exciting. Sometimes it’s “not yet” or “this broke.” I’ll link the evidence either way.
A couple of examples:
• What the KRC-20 incident did (and didn’t) mean:

• A vProgs problem the team is working through:

Kaspa v2.1.0 is out [Link in the reply]
All node, mining, and infrastructure operators across mainnet and testnets are strongly encouraged to upgrade.
This release introduces P2P Protocol Version 11, extracts a standalone ZK SDK, and reflects an ongoing focus on proactive defense-in-depth across the node architecture.
Key Highlights:
• P2P Protocol Version 11 & Chunked IBD: Large Initial Block Download (IBD) payloads (including Pruning Point Proofs, headers, and trusted data) are now streamed in 20 MiB chunks. This eliminates message-
framing bottlenecks and timeouts during node sync, backed by overall safety limits and transfer timeouts, while maintaining full backwards compatibility with Protocol 10 peers.
• Standalone ZK SDK: Zero-Knowledge proof and script-generation tooling has been extracted into a dedicated crate (kaspa-txscript-zk-sdk). It adds support for RISC Zero Groth16 and STARK verifier generation
with dynamic or static image IDs, bounds control proofs against oversized inputs, and resolves cross-platform build issues.
• General Hardening: Comprehensive defense-in-depth upgrades across the node, including stricter P2P message and block limits to guard against DoS vectors, a workspace-wide arithmetic safety audit to
eliminate overflow risks, enhanced stratum bridge stability, and tighter consensus validation.
These structural safeguards significantly strengthen node resilience and provide higher confidence in overall network security.
Havent read that yet but I believe its worth it!
One of few books about $Kaspa is here

In memory of @MikoGenno our very own PlanK who asked "where does the power law come from? What builds it?" To then only measure price while it goes much much deeper.
Wherever you are. Read this.
I came to this space because Bitcoin and crypto was a tulip mania that persisted. One price bubble is meaningless, two? a coincidence of our time, perhaps. three? How can it persist?!
There is something underneath that isn't explained anywhere else.
So i did the work, i looked at the data and the incentives, the incentive structure, the incentive token, i looked at how people acted accordingly.
Charlie Munger couldn't be more right when he said: "show me the incentive and i'll show you the outcome" he was focused on businesses, one company at a time, never a global monetary network with no CEO and no worker paid beyond their contribution.
The question is the incentive, Satoshi showed a design for how to build the perfect one, @hashdag gave a better smoother design, @michaelsuttonil and the core of today took the flag and ran with it. Crazy bastards.
How does one make a zero-sum game meaningful? That's their problem. I'm just here to interpret the machine of what they all accidently built.
Satoshi might not be around anymore, but do you know what you did Yonathan? Do you grasp it Michael?
I don't discourage the global minecraft-like sandbox created by core with covenants and accompanying ZK. it's an engine, within an engine, within an engine.
For the coming builders who builds next:
"Whatever seems good to you and your brethren to do with the rest of the silver and gold, do according to the will of your God."
#kaspa $kas #bitcoin $btc
Ladies and gentlemen, this is what happens when a certain asset price goes up for several months and you lose objectivity and you get emotionally connected via price.
We have seen this issue with many OG bitcoiners who seem to lost their minds and now zcash folks…
Being a toxic bitcoin maximalist in 2026 isn’t proof of conviction
it’s proof of being either a foolish newbie who’s stuck in a cult, or else being really stupid
Zcash will be the new preferred store of value for sovereign individuals and the epicenter of the DeFi market
Bitcoin is now for institutions, governments, and entities that have solid reasons to prefer transparency

How many unhacked bitcoin = lightning services are there yet?
Not familiar with this since I prefer L1 rails before risky scailing “solutions”
How many more till the mainstream btc KOLs change their minds about this well established myth?
A malicious user has likely gained access to Swiss Bitcoin Pay’s internal systems. As a precaution, we are temporarily shutting down our servers while we investigate and secure our infrastructure.
At this stage, we believe they may have accessed customer email addresses, Bitcoin addresses and IBANs, transaction history, and hashed passwords. It is not yet clear whether any other information was accessed.
User funds are safe, and any amounts owed to users will be fully returned.
We do not have a reopening date yet, but we are working as quickly as possible to secure everything properly.
We’ll be back stronger!

I suspect that this is hard to understand from outside of our chamber.
It would be great to have a space with $kas core devs (who are making wonders) and explain the most important stack of kas.
Kiss - keep it stupid simple for the average Joe to get a grasp of all these terms, developments and updates.
Also, a dedicated website comparing and explaining each component would be amazing.
To be able to onboard other devs and communities they need to:
1. Comprehend what all this is about;
2. How they can use it and built with it;
3. Ease of access to the tools and knowledge base.
Or maybe i am the only one out of the loop and everyone else is already up2speed.

Finally, Silverscript v1 is out [Link in the reply]. This completes the journey we started eight months ago with Toccata — it's finally possible to write human- (and AI-) readable smart contracts on Kaspa.
This language started simply as "CashScript with loops", but eventually grew into a full-fledged smart contract language capable of expressing complex, stateful contracts. It's always fun to look back at the first token mechanism @IzioDev and I worked on using raw opcodes, which took thousands of lines of code, and see the same thing implemented in just 60 easy-to-read lines of Silverscript.
I'm excited to explore the possibilities of UTXO programmability together with the Kaspa community, and this is only the beginning - Silverscript will evolve, Argent will add higher layers of abstractions, and I'm sure more people will find their own way of extending this new ecosystem.

Another critical vulnerability in a Lightning layer implementation has been confirmed, and funds were apparently lost. $Kas is a defiance of layered money.

I’m not going to block you for debating or even arguing with me idk why he did but it doesn’t represent the community as a whole in general everyone acknowledges they were exactly like you before studying Kaspa. Including me. I thought it was a shitcoin but @realvijayk and many others took the time to show me it’s legit and is truly like bitcoin with years of improvements in speed scalability and programmability baked in.
It isn’t aiming to replace any particular coin. It’s aiming to be highly functional utility money. If Bitcoin were treated as tech instead of dogma for 17 years this is how it would look.
Bitcoin isn’t a religion.
Nakamoto consensus isn’t god.
The white paper isn’t a bible.
Satoshi isn’t a martyr.
It’s technology, could have been improved over the years, but pushed into ossification via dogma.
That’s okay. It’s digital gold, it has a place as you point out.
That doesn’t mean it’s the fully fledged best possible version of block chain technology. BlockDAG is a massive improvement for speed and scalability.
Realizing Satoshis initial vision of P2P cash- which he left in “Capable hands” not for stewarding the white paper as a holy doctrine, but rather as Shepard to lead the future creation of perfected money.
Majority of people saw 2024 PDC World darts champion Luke Humphries but not me :)
I am standing right behind and trying my best to propagate the best freedom money ever invented 😎
And if you wonder what is the catalyst for the recent pump connect the dots 😂
kaspa:native
Did anyone spot the guerilla marketing I did yesterday?
Kaspa was broadcasted to dozens of countries across the Europe and rest of the World
Are these people serious or is it just a joke?
Never know…trustless LN payment?
Jesse, I am aware of a true trustless and instant payment on a layer 1…if you are ever interested
If anyone claims to “research”
2.8 project a day for 10 years (assuming not a single free day) you can be damn sure its a larp or a very very poor researcher…just saying
Or would you properly research btc, eth, sol, kas, tao, etc in 3-4 hours?
I've probably looked at over 10,000 crypto projects in the past 10 years.
From a fundamental perspective, nothing comes close to $TAO.
I have seen so many guesses about wallet number 1.
So its my obligation to make a bold predicition 😃
What if kaspa:native wallet number 1 is not a single entity or person but a cartel of selected major players and this wallet is just a vehicle for them to get exposure
