If ever there was a picture painting a thousand words of failing the fallen, failing the survivors, failing the current armed forces, failing veteran pensioners and generally failing our country decade after decades.... This is it.

Decades of Tory and Labour governments have hollowed out the military, neglected veterans, pushed them aside in favour of immigrants and yet they have the gall to go through this pretense of respect while Labour pursues legal actions against our own troops......

He and his office have long since made their feelings clear about 'real Londoners' and it's not white people from England apparently...
Yet he is happy to adopt a truly British position if it benefits his long term agenda

White families don't represent the real London or Londoners...

Hilarious inept reply. The state pension is an earned right based on a proven work history and NI contributions that sits in a unique psychological and political space, not a free handout to intellectually challenged lazy lefty traitors.

I was not invited, and I am paying my respects in Great Yarmouth. Weaponising remembrance is very poor taste indeed.

Lisa Nandy complains about the Tories politicising Remembrance Sunday...
And then immediately politicises Remembrance Sunday herself by saying the WW2 generation sacrificed themselves for the EU's Erasmus+ scheme
These people have no shame whatsoever

'Tone deaf' Labour MP Lis Nandy publicly shamed for using Remembrance Sunday to pitch lengthy EU Membership scheme to honour its veterans by creating new opportunities for future generations "through closeness and collaboration with our allies"
Crude political point scoring.

Remembering our fallen is more than words and photo opportunities. Britain deserves a leader who puts our history, our veterans and our people first.

It is truly disgraceful that Andy Burnham is using Remembrance Sunday to promote his EU deal.

Following the Ed Miliband snorkelling controversy in Antigua, someone brought an old pre-election Angela Rayner video to my attention.
In 2023, Rayner promised an independent Ethics and Integrity Commission with real enforcement powers.
What did Labour deliver?
A commission that cannot investigate individual politicians for misconduct or impose sanctions.
Labour spent years attacking Rishi Sunak's “lavish spending”, yet now face questions over their own travel arrangements.
They demanded accountability from the Conservatives but delivered a watchdog without enforcement powers.
The hypocrisy is staggering.

Alec Pecstone saw the state our country is in and said the war wasn't worth it
The sacrifice
The lives lost
The blood shed
And for what? To be taken over by migrant invaders?
RIP Alec, he will be remembered🙏

“Soldiers told to avoid Christian ‘elements’ in Acts of Remembrance.”
Read that ☝🏽 again.
An article from 2024 by @StevenEdginton.
The question is: what exactly are we asking people to defend if we’re no longer prepared to defend what makes this country what it is?

This brutality is abhorrent, and it shows the total dehumanization that every war produces when civilians, women and defenseless people are no longer regarded as human beings. A woman in civilian clothing being taken to a pit and shot by soldiers wearing blue armbands (typical of Ukrainian units), who then cover everything over, is horrific. If this is genuine footage and the woman was a civilian who was killed and thrown into the mass grave, then this is a war crime.
