It’s deeply disappointing to watch @SenMcConnell vote against @PeteHegseth.
I went into the trenches with McConnell to confirm Justice Kavanaugh, along with a near-record number of President Trump’s judges in his first term.
McConnell voted for Biden’s defense secretary, who oversaw the disastrous Afghanistan withdrawal, destroyed morale in the military with DEI, and scheduled a surgery without alerting the President.
McConnell refused to call for Lloyd Austin’s resignation.
Today’s vote is a head-scratcher, to put it kindly.
