That trial only enrolled patients within 1 year of diagnosis,LS022- two years. You can argue these oligomet recurrences later are a diff biology (see IMDC criteria). This data is helpful for a relatively common clinical scenario.

Chemo doesn’t really work in HCC either. Both diseases have been clinically revolutionized by VEGFi and IO. They were deemed recalcitrant in the age of chemo. Melanoma is another chemo resistant disease and ADCs are not making huge traction…

This may be my overly naive prospective, but RCC patients have never benefited from chemo. So why would an ADC (with a chemo payload) work? Novel ADCs with conjugated immune adjuvants, metabolic inhibitors may be more likely to work than chemo in RCC, no?

Important data from #ESMO2026 in #mCRPC:
🧬 56% of HRR alterations detected by liquid biopsy were predicted to originate from clonal hematopoiesis (CH).
⚠️ Patients with CH-only HRR alterations did not appear to benefit from PARPi monotherapy.
Distinguishing CH from tumor-derived mutations is critical for treatment selection. #ProstateCancer @EAntonarakis @urotoday @PCF_Science @OncoAlert
