BTCPay Server 2.4.5 is out! 🚨
Security hardening around Lightning and LNURL, faster invoice generation, and removing unmaintained integrations making our Docker deployment leaner. Plugin builder is now open for developers making plugins.

Building the Bark plugin for @BtcpayServer, I keep spotting things to improve. I don't ignore them, I open a PR.
4 PRs merged upstream so far.
It ain't much, but it's honest work 🧑🌾

To whoever is attacking @BtcpayServer Plugin Builder over the last 48 hours: I hope you're having fun wasting your time.
We’ve upgraded Core Lightning in BTCPay to 26.06.9.
CLN users: update now, to mitigate a vulnerability that can lead to loss of funds.
Server Settings → Maintenance → Update, or run btcpay-update(.)sh (remove parentheses).
If you don't use CLN you are unaffected; no action needed.
Core Lightning 26.06.9 is out. Upgrade now.
It fixes a newly reported vulnerability that can lead to loss of funds. Nodes running 26.06.8 or earlier are affected.
Verify the signatures and install it as soon as possible.

A lot of security improvement got into this one. But most importantly: API for Reports (Finally!) and invoice creation is now faster!

Proud of the BTCPay team. Through all the AI attacks, still going strong and shipping.

He vibe coded JPYC support on BTCPay Server by steering the AI on existing USDT plugin...
Vibe coding for your own need is cheaper than convincing another maintainer to extend their code for your use case.
Open Source projects need to embrace and support this.
Extensibility was a nice to have before... now it is the main product.

@blinkbtc is my current favorite Lightning wallet.
The @BtcpayServer plugin is a big reason why. It makes merchant onboarding ridiculously easy: accept Lightning payments straight to Blink without having to run or manage a Lightning node.
