🚨 JUST IN: #Ripple partners with Arf to bring settlement liquidity to the $XRP Ledger.
→ The problem: Payment companies have to pre-fund every cross-border transfer, then wait days for it to settle. That locks up huge amounts of working capital. Bank credit lines take months to set up and demand heavy collateral.
→ Who Arf is: A Swiss-regulated financial institution based in Zug that gives licensed payment companies short-term working capital. It helped pioneer PayFi, short for payment finance.
→ Arf's scale: Around $10,000,000,000 a year in global settlement volume since launching in November 2022, with its capital turning over 4 times every month.
→ The deal: Arf will provide $RLUSD settlement liquidity to licensed cross-border payment companies on the $XRP Ledger.
→ How it works: RLUSD is lent out to keep payments moving, repaid within 1 to 5 days as they settle, then sent straight back out again.
→ Phase 2: Once XRPL's native Lending Protocol (XLS-66) and Single Asset Vaults (XLS-65) go live on mainnet, Arf plans to move the program onto the ledger itself. It's already a design partner on both.
→ The best part: Payment companies don't even need to touch the blockchain. It all runs behind the scenes.
What it means:
→ The XRP Ledger gets real, revolving lending activity backed by real payment flows
→ RLUSD powers the entire credit cycle, from loan to repayment
→ $XRP pays the fees and reserves behind every transaction
Real payments. Real credit. Settling on the XRP Ledger.

It’s great to see XAO DAO putting their XRP to work in @Firelightfi on Flare.
Thank you to the XAO DAO community for putting their trust in our ecosystem!
🏦 80% of the XAO DAO Treasury has been deployed to @Firelightfi for staking.
The proposal passed with flying colors.

It is my pleasure to announce that @XAODAOLLC proposal number 66 has passed approving deployment of 80% of the DAO treasury of @xrp ripple:native towards @Firelightfi.
To the best of my knowledge this milestone marks the first deployment by a DAO towards a multi-chain DeFi strategy that has the dual purpose of supporting decentralized insurance and earning yield for our members.
I want to thank my co-manager @FMXRP1, @HugoPhilion & the team at @FlareNetworks for the Flare Smart Accounts technology stack, and the amazing product opportunity offered by @Firelightfi .

Moving value across borders in seconds is old news. XRPL already solved that.
The real challenge now is trust: how do two autonomous AI agents with zero shared history transact safely? They need guaranteed outcomes.
Yellow provides the exact trustless settlement layer to make it happen.

When you start putting together things that are being built separately, something pretty interesting seems to be taking shape around @FlareNetworks, FIP 16 and FCC. 🤔
Let's assume I'm right about two things (and I'm pretty convinced I am).
1️⃣ AIC (The AI Indexing Company) could be one of the projects Hugo has been hinting at : xitter.cf/JeeC84/status/21096498…
2️⃣ Flare is working on some kind of confidential decentralized exchange, where institutions could trade assets without publicly exposing their orders. Orders and trades could be processed inside a TEE, without putting every single transaction on-chain.
I'm also pretty confident about this second part, because I found some interesting stuff on GitHub and Coston2, especially around the FCC confidential orderbook prototype.
Now here's where it gets interesting...
Imagine AIC launching a tokenized index on Flare.
That index could generate trading activity, rebalancing, arbitrage opportunities, maybe even lending and borrowing around those assets.
AIC makes fees, Flare generates network activity and fees, and some of that activity could create MEV opportunities.
And I'm talking about useful MEV here, not toxic MEV like sandwich attacks or front-running.
Now look at FIP-16.
Flare isn't just looking at capturing part of that economic value through FIRE.
FIP-16 also introduces something I find particularly interesting: the possibility to share part of those revenues with asset issuers, depending on the activity and MEV their assets generate.
Think about that for a second.
What if Flare is actually trying to attract companies building financial products, give them confidential computing infrastructure through FCC, and then capture part of the economic activity those products generate?
And on top of that, reward those same issuers for bringing more assets and activity to the network.
That's a pretty interesting business model if you ask me.
And when I look at the timing of Hugo's statements, the FCC developments, the GitHub stuff, and FIP-16... I don't know, but things starts to connect in my head.
Maybe FCC isn't just another technical product Flare wants to offer.
Maybe FCC is what attracts financial applications, those applications bring assets and liquidity, and FIP-16 is how Flare captures and redistribute some of the value created.
Basically creating an economic incentive for financial companies to build on #Flare.
And honestly, I think that's a pretty strong argument to attract institutional players.
This could be way bigger than just $FXRP.
Of course I'm still speculating here, and I could be wrong about AIC, but I really feel there's something interesting being built behind all this.
$FLR #TEEs #DeFi #Finance
Indeed the FCC white paper is impressive. There is so much more that Flare can do than what exists within the community narrative. It’s not just programmability for non smart contract coins. In fact this may be the smallest thing that Flare can do (don’t worry we are still launching FBTC).
I’ll be launching a campaign together with partnerships that will totally reposition your thinking about where Flare fits in the blockchain landscape.

"Public prices first, then verified external events, then assets from other chains, and finally private data. Smart Accounts close the loop by connecting that stack to the people who hold the assets.
Each Flare product builds on the layers beneath it, which is why the suite is best read as a single architecture" - Flare stack explained by @defillama_res
Blockspace is abundant. Reliable data isn't.
@FlareNetworks built its L1 around the data smart contracts need.
That layer already powers FXRP, with nearly 90% deployed in DeFi, and is extending to private data through Confidential Compute.
