Here’s an NFL Films video on Brady’s Psychologist at Michigan Greg Harden
Tom Brady says his career turned around when a sports psychologist told him to stop complaining about what he wasn’t getting and start stewarding what he had the right way
“Greg said to me, ‘Why don’t you quit bitching about all the things you’re not getting, and how about you do the best with whatever opportunities you get?’, ‘Stop worrying about what the other quarterback’s getting. Stop worrying about what the coach is saying to you.’”
“‘Every time you get in there, you bring the juice. You bring the energy. You bring the enthusiasm. You treat practice like a game.’ Because if you just decide to go out there and you’re blaming everybody else, where does that get you? So I started to change my attitude.”
“I didn’t have a lot of confidence in myself. And when you don’t have a lot of confidence in yourself, you blame other people. When you gain confidence in yourself, you start pointing the finger at yourself.”
“I would encourage every athlete to look in the mirror after every day of practice or a game and say, ‘What can I do better to help the team? What can I do better?’”
“Not, ‘What does the coach need to do better?’ Not, ‘What do my teammates need to do better?’, ‘What do I need to do better?’ If every player does that, you’re going to have an incredible team.”
“You can’t have a false confidence. You don’t only gain your confidence because of your physical ability. You gain your confidence because you’re prepared, because you’re competitive. I couldn’t just show up and be better than everybody.”
“I had to show up prepared. I had to show up with energy. I had to show up with my body feeling right. I had to show up like I was on a mission.”

It’s what fathers do…..provide…I’ve come to understand “acts of service “as a love language is often misunderstood by all except to the one doing…
Dad worked 3rd shift for 22 years. I only saw him twice a week.
22 years. 260 shifts a year.
Mom said "Your father chose that job over us." Dad said "I chose that job for us." I believed Mom. Kids do.
Turned 25. Found his old timecards in a shoebox after he passed.
Line after line: "CLOCK IN — 10:47 PM." 260 repetitions a year, for 22 years. Nearly 5,000 nights.
I did the math at midnight. Couldn't put the box down.
Called my uncle. "Why'd he take that shift?" He said "Nobody else would take it." Said "Third shift paid double. He asked for it."…

THE COACH WHO GAVE EVERYTHING: 💔
Derrick Moore spent 20 years teaching elementary school outside Atlanta. The kids didn't call him "Mr. Moore."
They called him "Coach."
This summer he was standing on a beach in Myrtle Beach when a 10-year-old girl he'd never met got caught in a rip current.
Her name was Summer - and she was going under the waves.
Derrick didn't hesitate.
He swam out to a stranger's child and pushed her toward the other rescuers. He got her out. The same current that let her go took him instead.
His body washed ashore the next day.
He was 47.
He left behind four children of his own.
Think about that.
A man who spent his whole life keeping other people's kids safe in a classroom died keeping one more safe in the water - a girl he'd known for less than a minute.
Summer got to say seven words to his family: "Thank you, I really owe my life to you."
And his mother, who buried her son, said this: "My son is the type of person that would do it again. Even though we lost my son, I'm not mad at anybody."
That's who Derrick Moore was. Not a headline. Not a hashtag. A man who saw a child drowning and decided his own life was the acceptable price.
We spend so much energy arguing about who the good guys are.
Then a schoolteacher walks into the ocean for a stranger and answers the question without saying a word.
Remember his name.
Pray for his four kids.
This is what love looks like when it costs everything.

HEROIC! Virginia teenager Hugh Pinneo rushed into action to rescue a neighbor’s dog struggling in a frozen pond behind his home.
Pinneo states, “When my mom told me a dog was drowning, I was already halfway out the door. I didn't really think about the risk or the cold - in the moment, I just realized if I'm the one who can help, I'm the one who's gotta go.”
He’s raised right. 👏🏾

The NFL and Roger Goodell told Americans, our children, and all women in the US that we are no longer their customers. The Bad Bunny clips I’ve seen are disgusting, so on behalf of my country, I give Roger and the NFL a reciprocal F-CK YOU.
