Public Service is a different kettle of fish. When I disagree ideologically with our political leaders, please don’t take this as an attack but a call for scrutiny and critical thinking along nation building lines.
No Tokenism! Youth inclusion at COP31 must go beyond photographs, side events and speeches. Kilifi youth need access to negotiating spaces, policy processes and decision-making. #MeaningfulYouthParticipation @ALINEAfrica ##YouthNCCAP
From Local to Global Climate action begins in our villages, but climate decisions are made globally. Kilifi youth must connect local realities to Kenya's negotiating agenda at COP31. #KilifiYouth #ClimateAction ##YouthNCCAP ##YouthClimateAction @ALINEAfrica
Beyond Participation Kilifi youth don't just want to attend COP31; we want to influence Kenya's negotiating positions and shape the decisions that determine our climate future.@ALINEAfrica #YouthInClimateAction ##YouthNCCAP
A Seat at the Table Kilifi youth must move from climate consultations to the COP31 negotiating table. We have ideas, solutions and a stake in every climate decision. Nothing about us without us! #COP31 #KilifiYouth ##YouthNCCAP @ALINEAfrica
I'm attending a @greenfaithworld event: FAITHS RISING: Global Mobilization Kickoff - 11am GMT. RSVP here: @BrianMisiati actionnetwork.org/events/fai…
Youth participation must be a governance commitment, not a ceremonial exercise. Listen to young people, document their priorities and track their inclusion in Kenya’s climate plans.##YouthClimateAction #YouthNCCAP @ALINEAfrica #Kilifi
Kilifi’s youth priorities must not end in consultation reports. They should inform Kenya’s climate strategy, shape NCCAP 2028–2032 and contribute to the youth agenda at COP31. From local voices to global influence.@ALINEAfrica #YouthClimateAction #YouthNCCAP
As Kilifi youth shape the next phase of climate action, priorities must include green jobs, climate finance access, local innovation and resilient livelihoods. Youth must be partners in delivery. #NCCAP2028_2032 ##YouthNCCAP @ALINEAfrica
Youth voices must move beyond consultation rooms into county plans, national policies and climate budgets. Representation without influence is not meaningful participation. #ClimateAccountability #YouthNCCAP @ALINEAfrica
Kenya’s climate future cannot be designed without its young people. The Children and Youth Climate Change Engagement Strategy must institutionalise youth participation not leave it to chance. #ClimateGovernance #YouthNCCAP @ALINEAfrica
Kilifi’s youth have ideas, skills and solutions. The challenge is to connect their voices to policy, resources and implementation. Let the NCCAP 2028–2032 reflect community priorities. #KilifiYouth #ClimateAction #YouthNCCAP @ALINEAfrica
Consultation is the beginning, not the outcome. Kilifi’s youth deserve clear pathways to influence the Children and Youth Climate Change Engagement Strategy and NCCAP 2028–2032. #YouthClimateAction #YouthNCCAP @ALINEAfrica @KilifiDECCF_ke @KCCGP_
Nothing about youth without youth! Kilifi’s young people must help shape Kenya’s climate policies, priorities and solutions. Participation must translate into Action #YouthClimateAction #YouthNCCAP @ALINEAfrica @KCCGP_ @KilifiDECCF_ke
Climate litigation is where science, law, and Indigenous knowledge come together to drive climate justice. Strong legal strategies must move between climate science & courtroom advocacy, constitutional rights & community wisdom. #ClimateLitigation #ClimateJustice #EnvironmentalL
The future of climate justice is evidence-based, rights-based, and community-led.

Principal Secretary for Forestry Mr. @GMugambi_CBS today held discussions with the Chairman of the GRO Foundation, Mr. Paul Mukalazi Flynn, during a courtesy visit aimed at strengthening collaboration in the implementation of the Government’s 15 Billion Trees Programme by 2032.
The discussions focused on the Foundation’s plans to support large scale tree growing, landscape restoration and community based agroforestry initiatives, all aligned with the national target of restoring ecosystems and increasing tree cover across the country.
The Principal Secretary commended the ideas presented, noting that they are consistent with Kenya’s long term forest restoration agenda. He emphasized the need for structured partnerships that enhance seedling production, improve tree survival rates, and promote sustainable land restoration outcomes under the 15 Billion Trees by 2032 initiative.
He further briefed the delegation on the national agroforestry strategy, underscoring its role in integrating trees into agricultural systems to improve livelihoods, strengthen climate resilience and support food security.
Also in attendance were the Secretary for Forest Development, Mr. George Tarus, Senior Scientist Dr. Margaret Kaigongi and other representatives from the GRO Foundation.
