Ladakh belongs to the people of Ladakh. Let them make their own decisions, tbh every state in India should be able to make their own decisions rather than the centre just imposing things. This damages the whole federal structure of the democracy

The more unilateral decisions the UT Administration imposes, the deeper public resentment grows. Today’s complete shutdown in #Drass district reflects people’s anger over the alleged injustice in the allocation of LAHDC seats. Ladakh cannot be governed by imposing decisions while ignoring people’s voices. Justice, equal representation and public consultation are essential for democracy.
