#ONEPIECE Zoro's Conqueror Haki is so powerful that even a Giant's ship is shaking under it's weight. However, there's more weight to the concepts, relationships & developments behind Zoro being a Supreme King. Mari just did the best analysis on those topics It's a MUST read

"Hold that" That's coming from someone who likely thinks Sanji is equal or even close in strength to Zoro despite the vast evidence to contrary. Sometimes you just have to laugh. Enjoy your W, I guess.

From the very beginning.
Zoro, the swordsman, is the one who gets the most Haki power-ups. Every major power-up of his has been Haki-related Alabasta Enies Lobby Timeskip Wano Onigashima Elbaph It has always been about Haki!

I have inspected it for 15 years. Within the Manga, Zoro directly tied his AP directly to Haki. I don't see him making a distinction b/w his Haki & his Swordmanship. I don't see him saying; "That's assuming your Haki is greater than my Swordmanship"
Replying to @Barca_Wizard
If u inspect the system for about 3swconds it falls apart if your just happy with surface lv "he got that titles that's all that matters" that's fine . But without depth Zoro will be questioned forever on the topic. U will be defending he until the end of time.

There's nothing in the manga that hints at "Pure Swordmanship". What the manga does explicitly shows is that top tier Swordmanship is directly proportional to one's Haki. I really don't care about how important Zoro's goal is to the world. I care about whether the goal he's

The pure swordsmanship thing has always been bizarre just because oda suggested that's it's a thing but never dives into it. A very vague an meaningless system that only does negative things for Zoros goals. There is no substantive difference between WB weapon and other blades and the fact that they are in the same classification is ridiculous. It really is a truly meaningless goal in the context of the world and systems . Hoped oda would flesh it out in wano , but we are still waiting.

chasing is true within the story and aftee examining all of the arugment, the conclusion is quite clear; Mihawk is stronger than ever Swordmen in the world. That includes Swordmen who wants to lazy around all day or Swordmen who's trying to take down Imu. They're all inferior

The very first sentence is a strawman. This guy added on unnecessary qualifiers to Mihawk's title so it's easy to argue against. If you can't represent Mihawk's title correct and still think Shanks is stronger, then drop this agenda.

Summary: Mihawk is the stronger pure swordsman. He has the title, the permanent Black Blade, superior blade skill, and the narrative support that comes with them. Zoro’s recent CoC applications being framed as sword skills further supports that CoC-coded techniques belong in the swordsmanship domain for pure swordsmen. Those points stand. Shanks, however, is not defined solely by pure swordsmanship. Like Law with his Devil Fruit and King with his flames, his most distinctive tools are applications of a different power system in his case, extreme and creative Haki, for which the sword often serves as a medium rather than the source of power. The series has already shown that “uses a sword” and “pure swordsman” are not the same thing. Until we see the full extent of what top-tier Haki can do, the cleanest reading remains that Shanks is a Haki specialist of the highest order who happens to fight with a sword, not a pure swordsman whose ceiling is defined by the World’s Strongest Swordsman title. Both characters can be exceptional in their respective domains without one fully encompassing the other. I hope I’ve managed to clearly articulate my perspective and that of many other Shanks fans, as these serve as strong counterarguments to the claims centered on "swordsmanship skills" and the title of "World’s Strongest Swordsman." While I doubt that Vista is stronger than Law, it is entirely plausible that Law could defeat himeven if Vista possesses superior swordsmanship skills and is, technically, the "stronger" swordsman. The same applies to Shanks; we still don’t know what his "all-out" combat style looks like. Oda clearly intends for us to see how Shanks actually fights. The example of King is the ultimate argument demonstrating that someone who carries a sword and even executes their final attack using that sword is not necessarily a "swordsman." His "Imperial Wings" technique is not a swordsmanship skill; rather, the sword serves merely as a conduit to focus his flames before unleashing them all at once. In this same vein, Shanks likely treats his sword as a secondary tool, using it to facilitate his primary combat abilities, much like Law or King. A reason why Oda could bodly said that Mihawk is the stronger swordman without exactly having Mihawk over Shanks. Shanks will end up stronger, with the better feats... End :)

It's Brook's shadow that's interacting with Zoro

I don't think you know what's being argued here. Ryuma is not in awe, it's me being sarcastic. The point is that Ryuma thinks Zoro's 3SS is a circus act, not a form of pure Swordmanship. This "Pure Swordman" cope is something I like to make fun of.
A. words have meaning B. this is 99% brook, with some weird shit at the end of the fight.

important thing to Brook and actually tried to destroy the afro. That's very different in comparison to the Penguin that inherited Sanji's shadow and his regained his chivalry. That "weird thing" at the end is Ryuma's original memories rekindling his pride as a Swordman.

Nevertheless, my argument doesn't need Ryuma or Brook to make the comment. We still know that Zoro's Swordmanship is seen as weird, unique and feigned. If you believe what WG believe, what is "pure" about Zoro's Swordmanship?

I disagree. I don't think we do enough. It's 2026 and Oda has blast apart the argument of "Pure Swordmanship" by constantly showing that top level Swordmanship incorporates ACOC yet still people still argue otherwise. We need more shaming. It's a stupid arugment

Zorotards doesn't know that Shanks is just pretending to need his swords, so the surprise of him having a Haki Bazooka would be be more incredible. Turst the process. 💪
If the sword wasn’t required for the effect why tf did he grab it????????? Must’ve not been required for all these too since he had Acoc at 15
