The primaries right after my Father-in-law died, I went to vote in person. He had been living with us as we helped take of both my in-laws. Our last names have the same syllable. Think Thompson / Johnson similar. They misheard my name and told me I had already voted. I looked and somebody had signed next to my FIL's name.

Verifying U.S. citizenship when one registers to vote and verifying ID when one votes is such a bare minimum common-sense requirement for a free society. This parody ad is terrific — and accurate. The only reason to oppose voter ID is to enable and encourage voter fraud.
