Making young people stay in education until 18 has been a disaster. My daughter wants to work with disabled people. It’s taken her a YEAR to find an apprenticeship, where she will now earn half of her colleagues (Much as she is grateful for getting it!) apple.news/AhNfAw3OPSi6UMxDt…

It is quite something that a washing machine explodes in a house with profoundly disabled people and NO-ONE at this company care less. Still it sits here with no contact, like a momento. My daughter is traumatised as she was in the doorway and we are £900 down on launderettes to date. I guess we have to have actually been maimed to get a response

A few years ago many residential care homes were shut and care in the community was launched. This was giving the severely disabled person (just) enough money to pay for their needs to live in their Villages/Towns/Cities.
Take any of that away @10DowningStreet @RachelReevesMP @leicesterliz and you need to find 100’s of residential care places immediately. Do you think Social Care will step in!?!
