At different stages of his Chelsea career, Cesar Azpilicueta could credibly claim to be the best RB *and* the best LB in the Premier League. He also won the title as a CB.
From August 2015 to May 2020 he missed FOUR of Chelsea’s 190 league games.
He cost £7 million. #CFC

Farewell to N’Golo Kante, the most uniquely extraordinary footballer I’ve had the privilege to cover.
I’ve seen him tackle two opponents *at the same time*, receive *his own* pass, and take over the very biggest matches without ever wanting to draw attention to himself #CFC

Some perspective.
This is the furthest image ever taken of our Earth.
Photographed by Voyager 1, from a distance of 6 billion km.

Today I remember my Dad, Don. He lost his first wife and years old son in 1941 when their house was bombed. He could never recount his homecoming without many tears how at the end of the War when he arrived at Kings Cross that though 1000s were gatheredno one was there for him.
