It got ugly at the end but for the most part the Guardians’ pitching plan worked well enough. People are fixating on Bibee but he was bad down the stretch. IMO the mistake Vogt made pitching-wise was not trusting his other starters, Griffin and Cantillo, to get more outs

Him being paid means nothing. You’re not required to play guys because they got extended. He’s not shown anything since getting paid that’s warranted trust after struggling all season. Also, it was clearly evident by May that he wasn’t SP1 or even SP2.
