An epic statement demanding a fellow Dem candidate that has nothing to do with an ad that isn’t racist disavow and condemn the ad, and totally ignored the endless actual racist abuse the candidate has had to endure.
Does Stevens condemn Cruz saying AES joining the Intel Cttee would lead to American deaths? Does Stevens condemn Trump for saying AES should go through metal detectors? When Haley Stevens was asked on CNN whether she had communicated her demands to Abdul privately before making them public, she said no. That tells you everything. The goal was never to resolve a disagreement; it was to create a public controversy that would undermine his campaign and give her a pretext to withdraw her endorsement.
This a coordinated effort involving Haley stevens, Mike Rogers, AIPAC, and CNN. Haley Stevens first leaked that she and Abdul were no longer communicating, then that her fiancé was endorsing Rogers, before going on CNN to set conditions she knew Abdul wouldn’t meet. She needed a narrative to justify pulling her endorsement. Now the media can frame it as her withdrawing support because Abdul refused to condemn the ads, rather than examining the apparent effort to undermine his campaign and benefit Mike Rogers. She is evil
