If Celtic backed water. They would die of thirst. It's that simple.
#Scotland - Israeli flags in the Rangers stands. Why are they so fond of zionism?

Morning all, the 1995 Scottish Cup final saw a Celtic side which had failed to win a major trophy since 1989 take on Airdrie. It was a scrappy, nerve wracking game for the supporters and it was settled by a headed goal from Pierre Van Hooijdonk. Peter Grant was immense that day.

“6 or 7 people from the Creggan estate died on Bloody Sunday. So for me to wear a poppy in support of the people who carried out those atrocities, I couldn’t. It frustrates me how people can’t see that.  How there’s even a debate why I should wear the poppy.” - James McClean

Everyone saw the clip and whilst I’m not defending the guy - this is enough for that rag to never set foot inside Celtic Park @CelticFC

Imagine you’re on the “waiting list” and Celtic came to you and said there’s a ST going if you want it? No one is taking that opportunity these days. There might be a 10k list but I doubt any of them want to come off it at the moment 😂

X is full of reactionary opinions and people howling into the void. You need to learn not to howl back at them, and stop taking Social Media too seriously 👍. We can all have different opinions on Celtic, but unfortunately we’re all in the same shitshow together regardless.

X is full of attention seekers. You being one of them. And your mini novels won't convince otherwise.

The "unbiased" commentators are absolutely gutted.
Excellent from Mika Baur. I get Celtic were pushing for a third and taking risks, but this was entirely avoidable. Watching it live, nobody seemed designated to stop the counter. Baur having to do this was the consequence.

😂😂misleading Celtic fans. Think you take social media a tad too seriously. I’m giving my opinion on how shite and unambiguous Celtic are, that’s it. You know who misleads Celtic fans; the Celtic board. Everyone seems ok with that though 👍

Sir Patrick Stewart has left us, and the world is poorer for it. Beyond the monumental body of work he gave us across stage, film and television, there was that unforgettable night at the 2010 Glamour Awards when he put James Corden firmly in his place. As host, Corden had been loitering at the back of the stage with his hands in his pockets, looking thoroughly bored while presenters and winners did their thing. Stewart, up to present an award, turned and addressed him directly: “When the presenters are up here and when the recipients are receiving their awards, don’t stand at the back of the stage with your hands in your pockets, looking around as though you wished you were anywhere but here.” Corden, clearly taken by surprise and not used to being spoken to like that, tried to hit back: “You couldn’t be more wrong, sir. You couldn’t be more wrong. If it looked like that, I’m so sorry, but when you come up and present an award, just fucking get on with it!” Stewart wasn’t finished. He followed up with the line that really upset James: “From where I was sitting, I can see your belly, and that was right over there at the back of the room. These people down here…” Corden’s ego clearly couldn’t take it. He got right in Stewart’s face, fuming: “Sorry, I’m waiting for the punchline. Go on? No, seriously, go on? You can see my belly… and we can all see you dying right now! Let’s go?” He then stood there squirming, visibly uncomfortable and completely unused to being told off for his behaviour. Stewart closed it with: “If you fancy the Jonas Brothers, cover your belly.” It was awkward by the end, with people in the room shouting for them to just get on with it. But Stewart had done the job. He called out the lack of professionalism and the visible disdain for the event, and Corden had no real answer beyond wounded pride. Well done, Sir Patrick. Rest in peace. The world will miss you.

Patrick Stewart was once filmed dancing and singing on the bridge of the USS Enterprise-D in 1991 as a birthday surprise for Star Trek creator Gene Roddenberry. Though never intended for public release, a copy of the clip eventually surfaced as a bonus feature on a DVD. Rest in peace 🙏

Club Statement Southend United Football Club does not ordinarily comment publicly on matters relating to members of staff, and it is with reluctance that we do so now. However, following a number of social media posts containing inaccurate information, we feel it is necessary to set out the facts. All matchday staff are required to complete safety and security training, in line with the club’s legal and safeguarding responsibilities, including those introduced under Martyn’s Law. To support this, the Club has run a series of help sessions and dedicated drop-in sessions at the stadium, offering one-to-one assistance with the new staff app and online training. For the avoidance of doubt, staff without the app have been able to sign in manually and have not been prevented from working. At a recent cup fixture, reduced attendance and closed stands meant significantly fewer staff were required. Staff not rostered for duty were advised of this in advance, and in line with competition rules, no complimentary tickets were offered. Over the last few days, Club staff have been in regular direct contact with the long-serving member of staff concerned. The Club listened to his concerns, apologised for how he was made to feel on the day, and offered him the opportunity to continue in his role. When he explained that he no longer wished to continue stewarding, the Club offered him a season ticket in recognition of his many years of service, which he has accepted. The conversation ended on positive terms. We have also been in direct contact with the member of staff’s family, who upon recognising the efforts made by the Club to offer a fair and appropriate solution, have deleted their social media posts referring to the matter. We fully understand the strength of feeling when a long-serving member of the Southend United family is involved. However, we now consider this matter closed and ask that the privacy of all those involved is respected.
