Too many words, here is a picture and a breakdown.
Bitcoin is MOIP (Money Over Internet Protocol), you maybe didn't believe in the early days of the Internet, eMail, and Calls over the Internet either? Or it was all setup before you arrived?
Too young to remember Long Distance Calling charges or calling "collect" to a city less than 60 miles away? Now you can for free 6000 miles away with video?

Ask AI, the machines are starting to understand Bitcoin before the human counterparts. It's been 17 years.

I asked then to clarify where is the 3/4 of the remaining components required to make such a integrated system work. Power, connectivity, control and monitoring etc.
A hashboard is just a piece of such an ntegrated system. Response: picture of a box with parts in it and a block

Spending $10k on a sweater apparently doesn’t make you an expert on quantum and Bitcoin.
Where is the evolution for 3nm Bitcoin miners and making it affordable, with less of a heat biproduct?
Does anyone other than me think they are more like the dumb terminal, monochrome, green screen days?
They essentially do one thing. A math equation brute force guessing answers as fast as it can.

This cracks me up, 35 years with my nose in the trillions of rows of data in Corporate America, doing analysis and detail/summary reporting.
Then I come into Bitcoin and one of the first things I hear is "All your models are broken."
...but tons of airtime today on S2F, 🟢🟢🟢🔴, and Power Law but then enter the McRib Model once again. 😂
Maybe the Clowns (Ronald McDonald) are right?
For years I haven't been able to wrap my head around the heaters that heat your home, or pool you don't have, and mine Bitcoin.
I mean, I live in a climate that will freeze you to death 6 months out of the year but what about those people in Phoenix or Miami? Enter this gem, everyone needs hot water 365/7 days a week.
Genius.
h/t @BitPaine for posting this and now I am following them.
Let me get this straight, our own government, with all the auditors and programs, including DOGE, can't detail or explain fraud. Congress people, whom we elected, their net worth goes somehow to tens of millions, no one can explain. And then one of our biggest expenditures is the Pentagon and no one can explain 8 annual audit fails and our orange leader with his Cheetos colored spray tan is going to give us 1%?
And people think I am nuts for being politically homeless and a Bitcoiner?
At least I make sense, maybe not cents, because I am not a fraud.
BREAKING: President Trump reveals his new anti-fraud program set up to reward people who expose fraud with a 1% commission on the money uncovered.
"If you turn somebody in and you, let's say report and you find $1 billion, we are giving a commission to that person of 1%."
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
DOJ's published guidance caps individual whistleblower rewards at up to $30,000 per tip, not an uncapped 1% of fraud uncovered, with a total program fund of $25 million. A $1 billion fraud tip would not yield a $10 million payout under the official program rules. newsweek.com/trump-vance-of… foxnews.com/politics/trump…
To me the difficulty adjustment in Bitcoin is like the refractory period in human males.
Both would be dead without them.
I have ADD and my attention never wavered, I will never forget watching this.

Last week I asked a Bitcoin funding org to consider supporting an initiative.
“Probably best for decentralization that we don’t.”
“How so?”
“You should read stuff from jonatack and hodlonaut and it would explain it.”
“Oh that’s silly”
“I’m somewhat kidding, but surely you see the irony.”
Fortunately, funding has been decentralizing. But nothing in the responses was about merit or the value of the initiative.
CAPTURE Part 4: THE MACHINE
The fourth and final installment is out.
Bitcoin Magazine wasn’t just covering the fight over Bitcoin’s future. Its parent operated an Ordinals trading desk, invested in businesses tied to the ecosystem, and maintained editorial policies that exempted parts of that same business.
Then came an $80,000/month marketing contract, with an option for Nakamoto Inc. to buy BTC Inc at a valuation tied to its earnings, in a window that included the OP_RETURN fight. Nakamoto exercised the option.
Readers were not consistently told about these commercial relationships.

There are huge issues inside Business as Usual Bitcoin Core. Jon Atack/Wlad etc., we we need to bring back the old band for a new Bitcoin Client worldwide tour and buy tickets to support them.

Thanks. For now it's still possible, but the number of independent funding orgs is probably around 2. I don't think the core orthodox ones will, despite the main activity of the proposed initiative being independent review of core merges. I could submit applications to verify this, but for now it thankfully isn't needed. There is much more that can be said. Maybe if I retire or reconvert to podcasting or journalism ;)

Must read, of course.
Hodlonaut has done painstaking research into the inner working of Bitcoin Core, including many uncomfortable issues or governance.
In my view, Hodlonaut has been the paramount of journalistic integrity, seeking comment from those he's covering. And, for matters of public record, he's shining a light on issues that bitcoiners might not be aware of.
Read the series for yourself and come to your own conclusions. And, hopefully, some lessons can be learned and taken forward.

“Metallica is not here like some other entertainers to influence you with their bullshit” - Hetfield
I follow so many Bitcoiners who are "Metallica" compared to the Barry Manilow BTC-can't-we-all-just-get-along majority.
Them: "Looks Like We Made It"
Us: "Master of Puppets"
I feel for this, in recyling it's called wishcyling where you put things in the recyle bin hoping they get recycled when they actually can't.
It was WishPosting before hoping hitting the Yandex sites were impacting any Russian bots/conspiracy theories etc. 😌
🇺🇦🇷🇺 Ukraine’s strikes on Yandex didn’t make a dent in Russian bot traffic.
Ukraine hit 2 Yandex data centers last week, including the hub that runs most of Russia’s top AI model, and some claimed Russian bot traffic had crashed as a result.
But Cloudflare, which tracks a huge share of internet traffic, shows automated traffic from Russia barely moved all week.
The strikes did real damage to Yandex, they just didn’t switch off the bots as claimed.
