A Glasgow football academy restored a pitch. Then they spent years in court for asking to protect it. @JJAGlasgow upgraded the playing surface at Cathkin Park so children could train. They wanted a fence around that pitch not the park after broken glass, dog mess, quad bikes and dumped cars kept wrecking it. Holly Bruce, then the local Green councillor and now MSP for Glasgow Southside, objected and backed the campaign that took @GlasgowCC to court over the fence. That is the fight @scottishgreens chose. Not more pitches. A court case over one. Support the Academy. Protect the pitch. Stand up for Scotland’s kids.
