Dr. Will Gourlay from Australia recently visited Botan International.
One of Dr. Gourlay’s primary research domains focuses on Kurdish identity and citizenship in Turkey.
Over the past year, Botan International has convened 24 times with international academics and researchers to discuss freedom of expression and the status of Kurdish-language media in Turkey
Our trainer @HaticeKamer has been elected to the Board of Directors of the IPI Turkey National Committee.
Tunca Öğreten was elected President of the International Press Institute (IPI) Turkey National Committee, while Can Ertuna and our trainer Hatice Kamer were appointed to the board.
Kamer has been an trainer for all media training programs at Botan International since its founding in 2020.
We congratulate her and wish her success in her new role at the IPI.
