Went to see You Can See Everything before SCarolina played Tenn yesterday. That was a wild ride (both the game and the movie). Didn’t get a movie poster picture, apologies @zzgator

On this day in 2003, The ExtraTERRORestrial Alien Encounter at Walt Disney World closed forever.  Guests visited a futuristic corporation to witness a teleportation demonstration, but things went horribly wrong when a dangerous alien was accidentally transported into the theater. Trapped in their seats in near-total darkness, guests experienced surround sound, air blasts, and physical effects that made it feel like the creature was hunting them. It became infamous for being unusually terrifying for a Disney park attraction and was eventually replaced by Stitch’s Great Escape! in 2004.

Anytime a hurricane is approaching I post or repost this story about mama and dad and Hurricane Hugo. It’s that time again. Enjoy
Ok, bear with me because I’m gonna go on a little tweet spree and tell a story. Today is the 14th anniversary of my dad’s passing. Also, there’s a hurricane coming. This is a good time for me to retell about Hugo and my parents.....

With every new resort decision they’ve made over the last couple decades they indicate more and more the target audience is the wealthier of their visitors.

Finished up my afternoon with single rider Ratatouille. It was my first time since they did away with the 3D. I actually think I like this version more. Spent some time resting at the resort before just enjoying World Showcase. I’ll post MK thoughts later.

I’d probably get a different sauce next time, but the brandy peppercorn certainly wasn’t bad. While it might not be back to its former glory, Le Cellier was very good and I can see myself getting another ADR there before long….

Years and years ago LeCellier was the go-to restaurant at Epcot. Things went somewhat south, but I heard it had improved. I ordered the ribeye medium rare with brandy peppercorn sauce and braised mushrooms. The steak was cooked perfectly. The mushrooms were excellent……

Lunch was at Le Cellier and I had some time prior to my reservation to catch Canada Far and Wide. Beautiful scenery in 360* degree theater. People walking out early is aggravating tho. Unless it’s emergency please stop being rude. The run time is listed multiple places.

Prior to my lunch ADR I had time to do Test Track and SSE. That was my third time on the “new” TT and I think I’m enjoying it more each time. I used Bluetooth to sync the Jeremy Irons narration on SSE. I’m interested to see their eventual update to the attraction…

With two park days I went with the somewhat obvious choice of Epcot and MK. Didn’t do multi-pass, but did get single pass for Guardians. Decided to rope drop it so I’d get two semi-low waits on it. Waited about 30 minutes at open then 10 with the lightning lane….

I hadn’t spent too much time there previously. It really worked well for my travel day.
