I recently had the pleasure of sitting down with Adam Christing, a humorist, keynote speaker, and author, to talk about the power of laughter, connection, and storytelling.
Adam has spent four decades performing more than 4,000 humor presentations for CEOs, Fortune 500 companies, major nonprofits, and high-stakes audiences around the world. He is a member of Hollywood’s iconic Magic Castle, has worked with David Copperfield, authored The Laugh Factor: The 5 Humor Tactics to Link, Lift, and Lead, and is the CEO of Clean Comedians®, a business that uses humor to bring people together rather than driving them apart.
Adam is more than just a gifted public speaker and performer. He is a student of human nature. In our conversation, he explains how comedy works psychologically, why humor diffuses conflict, how it disarms resistance, and how it allows leaders to deliver truth without putting people on the defensive.
Adam also offers a brilliant blueprint for anyone who speaks publicly. Executives, trial lawyers, entrepreneurs, military leaders, and educators, can all benefit from Adam’s crash course in how to grab an audience’s attention and keep it. We break down how great presenters prepare, how to deal with nerves, why silence is so powerful, how to tailor your message to the room, and how storytelling can transform information into impact.
Along the way, Adam tells stories about joining the Magic Castle as a teenager, bombing on stage, learning from masters like Johnny Carson and Winston Churchill, and discovering that audiences do not want perfection - they want presence. He also explains why the boundaries of “clean comedy” actually make comedy more creative, why leaders should practice humor like a skill, and why audiences always root for the person at the microphone.
This episode is about leadership, persuasion, communication, and how to connect through humour. It is also full of laughs.
I invite you to listen to the full conversation and learn how humor can help you become a better leader, speaker, and storyteller.
And now I give you, Adam Christing.

This image will forever go down in the history books as the day that Lt. Gov Dan Patrick set into motion a chain of events that would eventually lead to his downfall and cost him the most powerful seat in the state
And it all started by throwing a bag of our Cereal Bites 😂🍃👋
Important insight…..and gets me thinking about vacuums and power……

An estimated 40-50 million people have chronic pain.
Perhaps we as a party shouldn’t have been persecuting pain patients across the country the past handful of years. You think?
@DanPatrick Remember the THC ban nobody asked for that you spent more time on than property taxes, education, stuff people actually wanted? You helped make tonight happen.

Goodbye @DanPatrick 👋💚
Vikki Goodwin declared victory over Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick on Tuesday to become the first Democratic lieutenant governor of Texas in 27 years, handedly dismissing an architect of the modern Texas Republican Party who pushed the state further right in his nearly two decades in public office. bit.ly/4Af2TSg

I’m very glad the Republican Party learned from their mistakes when they ran Herschel Walker and Dr. Oz and decided to run such champions of our people like Darlene Graham, Vivek, and Ken Paxton instead.

Voters resoundingly sent Sabet & SAM packing. Not one police organization or union supported the yes campaign. While @Policeforreform & The National Association of Black Law Enforcement Officers (NABLEO) also announced its endorsement for the No On 8 campaign, and a group of more than 50 current and former law enforcement officials separately signed an open letter opposing the anti-cannabis initiative.
This is a message to Sabet who funded a vanity campaign based on scare tactics and misinformation. Congrats to the Stop the Repeal campaign.
BREAKING: Massachusetts voters rejected a ballot initiative to roll back the state's marijuana legalization law—opting to keep recreational cannabis sales legal.

Texas had a Senator, John Cornyn, who voted like 98% conservative. He had a history of winning his races by large margins. But online influencers and podcasters knew better and primaried him with Paxton. And now not only will Republicans lose a Senate seat, they may lose the governorship. Absolutely foolish. If you care about good, conservative policy, you should care about having candidates that can appeal to a large enough constituency so they can win.
When will they get the message?

A (small) (but important) victory for freedom and sanity.
With over 70% in support, Houston voters have approved Proposition A, a ballot measure to decriminalize misdemeanor marijuana possession while also prohibiting police officers from conducting no-knock searches. themarijuanaherald.com/2026/…

Mike Elko has said repeatedly that Brady Hart is not going to play. So why isn't Casuga getting those snaps in practice? It's week 10. If Hart can't be seen as a replacement for Marcel's 8 TDs/8 INTs in 8 games, Casuga should get all the extra snaps.
The problem with the Cowboys was, is, and always will be that Jerry Jones isn't smart enough to know his limitations. The Cowboys have an ownership problem.

Dennis Rodman made a valid point.🔥
“MJ wouldn’t be as good as LeBron today? You mean he wouldn’t be as good at flopping? Yeah, that part he can’t do. When I was in Detroit trying to take his head off, he never hit the floor screaming. That was a league where you earned every bruise. Don’t talk to me about today’s soft rules and LeBron’s four rings from team hopping. My guy got his where scoring was a fistfight, not a parade to the free-throw line. Put MJ in this era with open lanes and no hand checks, he’d average 40-50 a night without breaking a sweat. No super teams, no recruiting tours—just domination. If you think MJ wouldn’t be as good as LeBron now, you have no idea who Michael Jordan was.”

All of us NBA fans 100% agree with Dennis Rodman’s opinion.
Bird is number 2 behind Steph
JJ Redick reveals his top 5 shooters of all time
“Steph is first. I respect that. Everybody else is way down the list to me. In no particular order, the other four: Klay, Kyle Korver, Ray Allen, Reggie Miller. To me, those are the guys.”
“Because when we talk about great shooters, I don’t want to disparage the previous iteration of three-point shooters in the ’80s or the ’90s, but those guys were not shooting the shots we take today. Those guys were not taking the difficult shots we were taking, nor were they shooting it at the volume.”
“So yes, a guy like Tim Legler, great shooter. He shot, I think, 55.6% one year to lead the league. But he wasn’t shooting the shots Klay was shooting. He’s not shooting the shots Kyle Korver was shooting.”
“And that’s not a knock on Tim. It was a different game, and the game has evolved. Now we put such a premium on generating three-point looks. It’s not just about the quality of the look, it’s the volume of looks.”
Abdul committing the equivalent (in the athletic world) of recklessly accusing someone of stolen valor.
Replying to @ChuckRossDC
Little man syndrome; Abdul has no idea what he's talking about. Proud to say, as Pete's dad, he was an absolute star on the court in HS. Captain, all-conference, all-state player...earned! We parents cheered him on, yes. That's what families do-support each other. #Envy makes him bitter.
