Almost every hitter can benefit from improving their posture, balance, and learning to control their center of mass (COM).
When a hitter can maintain posture, still rotate when/if they get to 50/50 at heel plant, and control center of mass ground force can be used to help movement start from the middle of the body instead of lengthening the torso and relying on the front side to pull the body into rotation. This leads to more power, greater adjustability, and improved bat path.
Briggs was just a sophomore when he made this transformation. There is more growth and improvement to be made. Sky is the limit for this kid.

Thank you!

Great last outing of the summer. I came in relief throwing 3ip, 4Ks. 4H, 0BB, 0ER, getting lots of weak contact and trusting my defense behind me. @LegacyBaseball5 @ToddFriedman10 @hylinskijake
