If Linux Kernel 6.6.6 isn't named "Kernel of the Beast" I'm quitting Linux and switching to FreeBSD
I'm looking at the r/OpenSource banning AI drama and as is so very often the case on Reddit this appears to be one mod who decided to go rogue and make a bunch of changes without informing the other mods reddit.com/r/opensource/comm…
Actually this is getting so much funnier, apparently this same mod was responsible for trying to shutdown the Bukkit project over a decade ago reddit.com/r/SubredditDrama/…

people on this website dedicate their profiles to Kingdom Hearts but lack the literacy to realize that Riku would make this claim not because its true, but rather he is actively being groomed and gaslit by Ansem who tells him everything he wants to hear to fuel his savior complex
I love how angry this channel makes people, the whole point is to break things to see when they break.

Tomorrow I will publish the website with proper instructions and source code so that I have time to follow everything. Good night good people 🤟
As a tip it’s 8:28 PM here in Italy.
Raven runs Windows apps on Linux, but not the Wine way 👀
While Wine translates Windows into Linux, Raven gives apps a Windows they recognize: real MSI installs, WinSxS, .NET 2.0 to 4.8, DirectX redists, and a snapshot before every install so nothing breaks your prefix.
Google Chrome, Steam (with the Unturned game installed and testes), Notepad++ and KeePass already works out of the box 🤟
I promise (because I already got at that point) better performance and out of the box experience. No hacking around with winetricks and similar tools.

I'm in the camp that thinks an AI disclosure is nice if for nothing else because of the statistic aspect, I like to know how many games are using AI, how many devs, which devs, etc because they make nice graphs.
However this is a problem that's been discussed within the Linux kernel as well, and is one of the cited reasons for the removal of the Assisted-by tag that was being used.
Another question I've seen raised is how useful is a generic disclosure when you get to the point that the majority of actual games (not just nonsense spewed out in a day) are using AI. Some have joked in the kernel about a "Not Assisted-by tag"
Tim Sweeney is criticizing Valve again over Steam’s requirement for developers to disclose their use of generative AI.
The Epic Games CEO called the policy “abhorrent,” arguing that developers are being forced to make a “political statement” that could be used against them by a “hate mob.”
Sweeney has been criticizing the policy since 2025, previously comparing the disclosure to a “Scarlet Letter” and arguing that AI will eventually be part of almost every game production process.
Every since I watched the original Rayearth it's always bothered me that Fuu was given a sword when they all switched to the weapons made of Escudo. It just made more sense for the support character to be given a ranged weapon rather than the biggest sword of the group
Obfuscation through minification makes sense to reduce the amount of data you need to send, anything else has always been a meme. If you want something to be private never send it to a user and do it on the server
It wouldn't matter if it was 0.01% of your business, a fuck up like that is a canary in the coal mine. If this is what people know is completely busted what else did you do wrong and are now trying to fix as quickly as possible before some internet sleuth finds.
