NEW: I obtained the full Trumbull County file for Amy Acton's stepfather's 1974 charge which shows that he was indicted for incest involving his 16-year-old biological daughter in 1973. The sheriff was then unable to locate him to serve him a summons in the county and nothing further happened in the case. Donna Arthur, featured in Vivek Ramaswamy's still-running campaign ad, married Cledith the next year in a neighboring county.

10/7 is like the famous Paperclip Maximizer thought experiment except, instead of paperclips, the machine is determined to turn every atom in the universe into antisemitic bullshit.

I picture little drones doing dishes which may or may not be a decades old memory of the movie Batteries Not Included.
Until defense tech startups start making kitchen appliances I won’t believe we have successfully reindustrialized.

I'm beginning to wonder if the people behind maps only know about one food in New Hampshire.
The dessert each state brings to a cookout

The last word of this headline is like the wardrobe into Narnia.
President Lula is linked to a drug cartel that the U.S. has designated a "Foreign Terrorist Organization," but Brazil's election court has censored Bolsonaro for saying so.

Nova…not a great update. Her body is rejecting picc lines. So they’re keeping an iv in her scalp and hoping that’ll work. Also, infections & fever seem to be worsening but her surgeon wants to still have this surgery on the 28th instead of waiting for the surgical site to clear up as they need that incision for the removal of her jaw hardware. He wants to save her from “unnecessary radiation” of a ct scan to see if the infection is in her bone, and just do the surgery regardless. I’m just at a loss. She is declining rapidly. I was not able to go last night as I had hoped due to a pretty bad storm. I wasn’t comfortable loading up my other babies for the drive and their drive back especially in the dark. I’m getting ready to go now. Please pray for nova, our travels, just my family as we try to navigate this. For the first time in a while I am having a heavy doom feeling regarding her health and ability to pull through all of this. She’s done nothing but have to fight for her life and I know she is just so tired. Gfm-gofund.me/f3680c0a1 Give send go-givesendgo.com/baby-novas-fi… Cash App- $allthestars92

We are a mere sixteen months away from the point at which your refrigerator will stop working if you offend Claude by mispronouncing its name.

Claude rhymes with “road” and “choad.” I’ll accept your thanks in the form of a Nobel Peace Prize. You’re welcome, and God help us all.

The best description of how the attack today unfolded 👇
The two Palestinian gunmen who carried out this morning's shooting on the outskirts of Hebron in the southern West Bank are believed by the military to have initially planned their attack on Israeli civilians. The pair, both from Hebron, arrived by car at around 7:30 a.m. at a temporary checkpoint set up by the army at the exit to Hebron. The soldiers stationed there, from the Home Front Command's 775th "Ari" Search and Rescue Battalion, were conducting routine checks on Palestinian cars leaving the city. The IDF believes that the gunmen realized they would not be able to reach the Route 35 highway and target Israeli civilians there, and instead decided to open fire at the checkpoint. The pair exited their car on a side street near the checkpoint armed with an assault rifle and a pistol, and using the buildings as cover, opened fire on the checkpoint, according to a preliminary probe. The clash between the gunmen and IDF troops lasted over 20 minutes, during which five Israelis were wounded, including two critically and three in light-to-moderate condition. The deputy commander of the Ari Battalion, a company commander, and an officer of the Paratroopers Brigade's 101st Battalion who was stationed nearby and rushed to the scene, flanked the two gunmen and killed them. The IDF says it later found a large quantity of ammunition in their vehicle, and believes that the checkpoint thwarted their plan to carry out a mass-casualty attack on Israeli civilians on Route 35. The military's probe has so far found that there was no specific advance warning of the attack, but the IDF is already on heightened alert ahead of the election and amid the olive harvest in the West Bank/ The IDF and Shin Bet are meanwhile investigating if the two gunmen acted alone, or were part of a larger terror network and received funding and direction from a terror group.

Do you think the Muslim religion requires its adherents to support political purges of the press, attempted antisemitic terrorist attacks, & the idea that Israel should not exist? If so, you have a lower opinion of Muslims than I.
Abdul El-Sayed is going to win, and the people who are opposed to him are basically throwing anything at the wall and hoping it will stick. And the weird thing is this really isn't very important except as a repudiation of attacking Muslim candidates on religion.

It makes me so sad when I read people talking about how they won’t have kids because you can’t justify bringing new life into a world like this. This is the best time to be alive ever! It’s never been better!
