Firelight Protocol is now live, with initial cover extended to @SentoraHQ's USD Protected Vault and Protected RWA Vaults.
DeFi now has its missing player: a protection layer for onchain capital.
BUGO ☀️ retweeted
In 7 days, Firelight brings a verifiable protection layer to DeFi: transparent terms for defined protocol failures, with capital you can verify on-chain.
Early protocol emissions will follow shortly after launch.
🚨 Flare trenches update
In my opinion @BugoFLR and @fcatflare are currently the only established tokens
They managed to build an active community and kept them interested while bugo is the old guard and the fact somehow the new shiny thing
They both got mentioned from Hugo and definitely worth it to hold em both if you are building up a flare meme portfolio
If the market takes off I think there’s no way around them
With the @ignisdotfun projects got a way for quick and clean launches. I like to see a good amount of projects launching and trying to gather attention but here we have to talk about expectations.
It’s one thing to be early but this doesn’t mean you are making huge profits and not every launch can have a run like fcat a few weeks ago.
The amount of users and liquidity is limited and after 2/3 days from launch people started to dump on each other.
Not every launch is a success and neither is every trade. I would advice to dig around and see what you like and vibe with.
Position yourself accordingly, spread the word and try to onboard new people. Not to dump on them or using them as exit liquidity but to grow the whole space.
Your profits will likely come further down the road - remember this is a marathon rather than a sprint.
With $Tally only one token migrated so far and they struggled to keep the attention after, which tells me that all the launches are somehow in the same position.
The project who can provide the most value, the best art, the funniest memes, the best community, etc will succeed at the end and so far the race just started.
I personally spread my funds across several projects. Holding a bag at the sideline to be able to react quickly if needed.
Hope that helped a few people
Also feel free to give your opinion on the current market situation in the comments :)
Would love to have a conversation about that.
Don’t worry $flare friends I’ll show some more love to you today
Content was a little XRP heavy yesterday but we had very interesting things coming up on the XRPL
Will give you an update and my opinion on the current situation in the trenches here in a few hours 🤗

Flare + memes are new narrative. Take note!
If we are going to do memes on Flare then a launchpad model I would strongly support is one that shares revenue with FIRE.
There would also be an added benefit for those engaging in meme speculation who also hold FLR as the net effect of said speculation would feed FIRE, leading to a direct positive effect on the FLR that they hold.

Can add a few things to the list:
Unusually strong founder-market fit - derivatives/ex-hedge fund PM + ML ;
Picked a contrarian thesis, stayed with it, kept shipping while nobody cared. XRP just happens to be cool again ;
Keep compounding thesis, infra, then usage ;

Seguiremos observando, aprendiendo y apoyando a quienes estén construyendo y aportando valor al ecosistema.

Kind of feeling ranty again.
I’ve been reading a lot on the crypto space about memes and the narrative that goes back and forth around them. Honestly, I was really against them, but I’m gonna change my tune and swing for the fences here.
I’m starting to agree that having a great meme and a successful meme coin on your network CAN be a great asset. And having a successful Meme Coin validates community, which I’m all about community.
So tonight I’m gonna say eff it and I’m gonna go in on a meme. And that meme is $BUGO and that’s because I believe in what @FlareNetworks is trying to and actively building.
I have full faith that @HugoPhilion is really creating solutions and building infrastructure that will be widely used in the near future.
So, from this point forward, every time I claim a reward, I’ll take a portion of that claim and put it into $BUGO.
I’ll post my receipts and I hope to see the flare-networks:native force jump on board 😎.

Another claim another swap @BugoFLR
I’m gonna keep doing this!! Let’s goo flare-networks:native community😎

Ok, so a little bit of controversy after @HugoPhilion's meme post apparently.
Obviously, I prefer serious financial products, and think @FlareNetworks is going to be home to a number of them that are relatively unique in this space.
That said, currently the bulk of the Flare community is...kinda boring.
Now, don't get me wrong, I completely understand the drive to focus on min/maxing yields, squeezing every last bp out of your existing funds, trusting in the power of compounding to catapult your responsible decision making and metered risk taking into generational wealth.
But...it's boring.
It's not fun to talk about.
It's not fun to do.
It's not fun to watch.
Because those products are not supposed to be fun. They are supposed to be reliable, consistent, and boring.
But reliable, consistent, and boring products do not make an enticing ecosystem and community.
So while the spreadsheet obsessed part of my brain hates to do it, I make it a point to take a small part of my onchain income (be it from dex fees, delegation/staking rewards, incentives, stability pool fees, QPY Cloud rewards, etc) and throw it into things someone else built that I think are interesting.
Even if I don't necessarily think I will see a return on those things.
Because I'm not always right.
Because the things I think are important are not always what will build a bigger community and more successful ecosystem.
And, because I want to see more builders, not less, and building is hard when you have an idea, a plan, a drive, but no idea whether it will resonate with anyone else out there.
So ya, I bought some $BUGO to be a part of whatever @BugoFLR ends up doing, because why wouldn't I want to be a part of that community.
And I deposited some $FLR into @FlareBank, because I like the concept and I want to be part of that community too.
And I bought some $FCAT from @thedefimontana's new product, because it seems like it could be a fun thing to mess with and I want to be part of that community too.
And I minted NFTs from @block_bonez and @_DigitalDynamix because @CommunityFlare rocks any why the hell wouldn't I want to support him building here and be a part of his communities.
I try to at least test everything @flareforward puts out, because currently I don't think there is a more dedicated small group of builders/community members on the network and why wouldn't I want to be a part of their community.
And I minted sFLR from @SceptreLS because they were the first to unlock LSTs on Flare and make staking a simple process and why wouldn't I want to be a part of their community.
And I trade perps and supply liquidity for perps on @SparkDexAI because they were the first to bring perps to Flare and have done a lot to mainstream defi activity on the network and why wouldn't I want to be a part of their community.
And I lend and borrow with @Kinetic_Markets because they created the home for the initial explosion of liquidity on Flare and why wouldn't I want to be a part of their community.
And I stake a chunk of my $FXRP with @Firelightfi because what they are building has a ton of potential in this space, and why wouldn't I want to be a part of their community.
And there are countless other things I have tried out, bought, supported, gained from, lost on, etc. Some of them are serious, some are not, and some are in between.
Because the @FlareNetworks isn't just a serious community, with serious people and serious ideas.
It's also a community for experimenting, having fun, shit talking, meme-ing, winning, losing, dreaming, learning and growing.
So anyway...
tl:dr
It's ok to have some fun.
Not everything has to be serious.
Give yourself a play budget.
Be a part of the whole community, not just the part you currently land in.

Flare could use a little more fun and $BUGO is here for it. ☀️

Just to mention a few things at a high level:
Hugo leading a new wave of adoption and strategic development in the Korean market.
Memecoins starting to gain momentum (check Dexscreener).
Our main DEX reaching new milestones powered by FTSOv2.
New projects launching after Flare Summer Signal (compiling a list as we speak).
Key improvements to the FSA portal and new sources of revenue for FIRE.
And perhaps a few surprises I might be preparing 😏

I’ll always try to keep a mindset that pushes me to improve, regardless of whether things are going well or not.
One thing I’ve learned is that progress compounds when you keep looking for the next thing to improve, even when there’s no obvious big problem to fix.
I think comfort can slow you down just as easily as failure can.
