Today's ABP says the 27 lakh hanging in a balance at the WB tribunals cannot apply for the ECI special drive OR the SSR 2027, because it is under judicial consideration.
Two laws - one for the rest of the country and one for WB.

Basically he hasn't hired anyone in 18 months, hasn't hiked the current employee salaries, and is going to layoff them soon. But he wants NRIs to leave their jobs and work in India
Unfortunately, we are being blocked by certain oligarchs in order to maintain their monopolistic chokehold on the Indian people. You can guess who they are …
This is a crime against the people of India!
India needs @Starlink 🇮🇳
• 11,256 of India’s listed villages still lacked 4G coverage as of May 2026.
• India had 1.093 billion internet subscriptions in March 2026, but only 440.87 million were rural. Rural subscription density was 48.31 per 100 people, compared with 126.80 in urban India.
• BharatNet had laid over 850,000 route-km of fibre and made about 221,000 Gram Panchayats service-ready. However, its Points of Presence were reported operational at only 80,472 Gram Panchayats in June 2026.
• Only 4.26% of India’s internet subscriptions were wired connections in March 2026. Starlink could give underserved communities another route to high-speed broadband.
• Starlink has already built 20 gateway sites in India, according to SpaceX Vice President of Starlink Business Operations Lauren Dreyer, speaking at India Mobile Congress today.
• Starlink says it has developed India-specific security controls designed to keep Indian user data within India.
• Its satellite network could bring high-speed internet to remote villages, mountains and islands where extending fibre or mobile networks is difficult.
• Better connectivity could help rural schools access online learning, clinics offer remote consultations and small businesses reach more customers. Starlink already supports education and healthcare in remote communities internationally.
• Portable Starlink terminals have supported disaster response around the world. They could give Indian emergency teams backup connectivity when floods, earthquakes or storms damage ground networks.
• Direct to Cell could also help ordinary 4G phones connect beyond tower coverage, subject to Indian approvals and mobile operator partnerships.
• The government itself identifies difficult terrain, low commercial viability and infrastructure constraints as reasons for remaining coverage gaps. This is exactly where Starlink could help India reach more people.
• India should complete the remaining clearances and spectrum allocation so Starlink can begin commercial service.
• SpaceX’s Vice President of Starlink Business Operations, Lauren Dreyer, said that Starlink is ready to help achieve Prime Minister Modi’s vision of 100% connectivity across India. She highlighted its potential to connect remote classrooms, support telemedicine and restore connectivity after disasters, adding, “With Starlink, people can get connected within minutes, not years.”
India’s hardest-to-reach communities deserve reliable internet too.

Law and order much @SuvenduWB ????
Henry Nowak died the same way a civilization dies: abandoned, handcuffed by authorities who neither trusted nor cared for him, and accused of hate crimes he did not commit. His murder is as tragic as it is enraging. He should still be alive today, and he would be if the last few generations of European elites had stood their ground against the politics of self-hatred and the mass invasion of migrants, many of whom despise the West and the people who love it.
Henry was far from the first to so needlessly lose his life, and I fear he won’t be the last. Each time a life like his is lost, the proper response—the only response—is righteous anger. One of the most important things the Trump administration has proven to the world is that stopping the flow of mass migration and defending national sovereignty is a matter of political will and leadership. Anything else is an excuse.
It is because we love the West that we want to preserve it. We love our civilization. We love our country. We love our children. And nobody—nobody—should ever die the way that Henry Nowak died. May God comfort those who loved him, and may God rest his soul.

There are 11 - 12 MLAs like Kunal, Madan, Rathin Ghosh, Biman Banerjee, Dilip Mondal, Ashok Deb, Sobhandeb, Arup Roy, Pulak Roy, Arunava Sen, and Asima Patra who are highly unlikely to break.
There are 34 TMC MLAs are Muslim
So, Ritabrata needs atleast 20/34 Muslim MLAs.

Respect for @Ram_Guha on many issues, but this is threadbare.
Liberal, secular India seeks the arrival of a mythical hero-politician who defends Constitutional values, calls out oligarchs and autocrats, is not corrupt, and has a strong connect with the people.
Oh wait. 🙄😄

Natan Sharansky's Townsquare test explains- "If a person cannot walk into the middle of the town square and express his or her views without fear of arrest, imprisonment, or physical harm, then that person is living in a fear society, not a free society. We cannot rest until every person living in a 'fear society' has finally won their freedom."

When TMC, together with the BJP, was driving Tata out of Singur, I was still anti-BJP.
When TMC was piling up dead bodies from North Bengal to Jangalmahal, I was still anti-BJP.
When Modi came to WB in 2014 and said, “Didi in Bengal, Modi in Delhi,” I was still anti-BJP.

I may absolutely disagree with someone’s politics, but I can distinguish between a genuine and a made up resume. People who believe in a fake degree in entire political science will of course find an MBBS (CMC) doing a PhD in Cognition, Brain, and Behavior (Harvard) unbelievable.

#Bengal #Kolkata

If you believe free speech is for you but not your political opponents, you're illiberal.
If no contrary evidence could change your beliefs, you're a fundamentalist.
If you believe the state should punish those with contrary views, you're a totalitarian.
If you believe political opponents should be punished with violence or death, you're a terrorist.
