Remembering Dan Sturges, irreplaceable to MSU hockey and those who knew him. ‘He was special, man.’

“He has made me look like a way better coach than I really am. Our guys just love him. He can't be replaced. I mean, that's just the reality of it.”

Love this quote from MSU coach Adam Nightingale: “I got into coaching 18 years ago, and it took me 30 seconds to understand that I don’t care what anyone thinks. I care about the guys in the room and I told them I’m super proud. They’ve done everything we have asked and I think if you look at it, we got a chance to play for six trophies this year and we won five of them. This is the one we really wanted obviously, and we fell short.”

It's Equipment Manager Appreciation Week. Sorry not sorry, everyone else - but we have the 🐐 30+ years, a couple of Nattys, and enough stories to fill volumes of leather-bound books. Thanks for EVERYTHING you do for us, Tom Magee!

A small request: Tonight, take some time to read about Bart Wegenke's life. Personally, I'm going to miss Bart very much. With Humor, Grace, Passion and Love, he selflessly served. He inspired. Bart made people feel better about themselves and about life. He was fearless.✊️

.@ToreyKrug had the primary assist on Pasta's goal. It was the 200th of his career, giving him the most by a U.S.-born player in #NHLBruins history. @dbackes42's secondary helper was the 300th assist of his career.
